If you're planning on catching up with friends, this might not be the best spot. They have a good selection of bagels (everything, Asiago, blueberry, etc.). They also offer breakfast sandwiches, croissants, muffins, and some sweet pastries. You can customize your bagel or sandwich with a variety of cream cheeses, veggies, proteins, and other toppings. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Asiago bagel with lox, cream cheese, and capers. The bagel itself was a bit on the dense side, and the Asiago flavor was a little muted - I was hoping for a stronger cheesy punch. The lox and cream cheese were good, but overall, the price felt a bit high for what I got. Overall, House of Bagels is alright. If you're in the neighborhood and need a quick bagel fix, it'll do the trick. But with the limited seating and slightly higher prices, I'd probably try another spot next time.
