  A little big place when u can taste a original flavour of the sea. U can eat in front of a beautyful sea of the S.Francisco bay. I found the food very good, and the rice was cooked just right. I will return here fore sure!

  Attirati dal nome siamo entrati nel ristorante.... Nel complesso molto bello, ci è toccato un tavolo con vista sul mare...il menù è vario..ma avevamo sentito di una portata particolare......e ci siamo incuriositi..... Abbiamo ordinato una zuppa di vongole.... Che lì ha un nome ben preciso..... C'è l hanno portata dentro una pagnotta svuotata della mollica... Che dire ..una prelibatezza ad un prezzo accessibilissimo..io questo ristorante lo consiglio vivamente....

  Très bonne expérience chez Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. ! Nous avons très bien mangé, les plats étaient bons et généreux, avec un service sympathique et une ambiance vraiment agréable. Mais ce qu’on adore surtout ici, c’est évidemment tout l’univers autour de Forrest Gump. La décoration, les références au film et tous les petits détails rendent le restaurant vraiment original et tellement américain. C’est touristique, bien sûr, mais franchement ça fonctionne parfaitement et on passe un très bon moment. Très bon repas, cadre fun et ambiance au top. Une adresse que nous avons vraiment appréciée à San Francisco !

  First, we were greeted by Bruce. He really sets the tone for the place ! We got there about 1130 on a Thursday. We had reservations for later, but got they're early and were seated. It wasn't real busy yet. They have lotsa tables facing the water - which I'm sure are in high demand. Large windows give a fantastic view. You can see Alcatraz and in the distance, Golden Gate Bridge. Next, Carlos was our server. He was also great - Friendly and professional ! The server can ruin an otherwise fine meal I'm no time. Our whole lunch was great! Food was good, too. I didn't get pictures. It's food. Others post lotsa food pictures. The interior is pretty cool. It's a laaaaarge dining room ! (See photos). I didn't catch the manager's name, but he, too, was outstanding. Thank you. For those of us who actually drove (😬) you can get your receipt validated for $10 off in the Pier 39 parking garage (the big, blue one across the street). Thanx again for a great lunch. It was an extra special occasion for me ( meeting up with my cousin I hadn't seen since we were little kids, over 50 years!). 😍

  We were 2 moms traveling with 4 kids ages 8–11, & after a VERY long day driving up from the South Bay, exploring Aquarium of the Bay, Alcatraz, & Pier 39, our crew was absolutely exhausted, starving, & ready to head home. We had walked WAY more than expected, dealt with delays & hiccups, & still had a long ride back to the South Bay ahead of us. Then we arrived at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Pier 39—& there was a long line out the door! Thankfully, as Landry’s members, we were seated right away at a beautiful window table for six. The kids were thrilled to finally sit down & eat and the ocean views were incredible! We ordered drinks all around, including Roy Rogers & Shirley Temples for the kids. The kids had the kids’ shrimp & crab meals (x2) & kids’ marinara, & regular menu Crab & Shrimp roll which were generous, delicious, beautifully presented, & so engaging that they stayed busy eating & ended up completely full. Us moms ordered fish & chips & a shrimp po’ boy, & immediately DEVoured them. Not a single leftover on our table! Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully plated & served in generous portions. But honestly, the food was only part of what made this experience so special. LEAH WAS INCREDIBLE! She was warm, welcoming, attentive, & genuinely wonderful with our kids. She made sure every child felt included, took great care with their orders, & even entertained them with Forrest Gump trivia & prizes. She was incredibly fast & attentive, kept our waters filled, & somehow managed to make us feel completely taken care of even though the restaurant was packed! As two tired moms, that level of service was EVERYTHING. We could finally sit back, relax, eat, & let someone else take care of the details. & then came the cherry on top… After dinner, Leah sent us toward the gift shop to pick up a clean souvenir glass from one of our specialty beverages so we wouldn't have to travel home with a dirty cup. Talk about thoughtful! But she wasn't finished. One of us had accidentally left a purse behind in the restaurant—a purse absolutely FULL of the day's necessities & provisions. Leah actually ran out of the restaurant & into the souvenir shop to find us & return it! LEAH, YOU SAVED THE DAY! After such a long, exhausting day, your kindness, attentiveness, humor, & genuine hospitality completely changed the ending of our trip. You made 4 tired kids happy, gave 2 exhausted moms a chance to breathe, & turned what could have been a stressful dinner into one of our favorite memories from San Francisco. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Pier 39, you have a STAR in Leah! Please recognize this amazing server—she deserves ALL the praise & honestly, a RAISE! 5 STARS ALL AROUND! Delicious seafood Family-friendly dining Amazing Pier 39 location Outstanding hospitality Exceptional service from LEAH! Thank you, Leah, for taking such wonderful care of our family & ending our crazy San Francisco day on the most relaxing, positive note possible. We would absolutely recommend Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Pier 39 & cannot wait to come back!
