They have a little sign on the tables to flip over if you need something and we had it flipped over and the staff just completely walked by without asking if we needed anything at all. I ordered a steak and it was no lie like 70%fat and only a little piece of steak. The bathroom was really disgusting would not recommend this place

We arrived on a weekday after 2:00 pm, so it wasn’t even during the lunch rush anymore. We were told the wait for a booth would be 20–30 minutes, but it kept getting extended—20–15 more minutes, then 7, then another 5—with no explanation. By the time we were seated, we were exhausted, hungry, and thirsty. We should have get but I felt bad that my family was already seated and looking at the menu. Instead of greeting us warmly, our waiter had a rude attitude and complained that we hadn’t given him time to introduce himself. After such a long wait, a little empathy would have been appreciated. Thankfully, another waiter took over our table and was kind, professional, and friendly. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced us not to return to this location. There are plenty of great restaurants at the Pier with much better customer service.

Our actual server, Charles, was amazing and super friendly. The other staff members were the opposite. I tried to wave someone down so we could get a pen to sign our bill, and multiple of them walked right past me. The "Stop Forrest" sign did nothing. Another waiter did stop, but he was seemed unhappy about it. He stared at us until we were done signing because he said people had been stealing his pens? Bro you have like 5 on you rn. Also they're just basic bic pens. Weird depressing vibe going on there.

We were a party of 4. We were seated within 5 minutes. Table was CV lean. Waiter was very attentive. Even before she took her break, she introduced her replacement to her whole section. Her replacement brought us our requested deserts. We loved the ace. Restroom was very clean.

We were lucky enough to get a table with an amazing view overlooking the bay, making the entire dining experience even more memorable. Watching the boats, taking in the fresh ocean air, and enjoying the energy of PIER 39 while eating was the perfect way to spend part of our long layover. The food was exactly what I’ve come to expect from Bubba Gump’s, delicious, fresh, and consistently good. The service was friendly, and the fun atmosphere made it a great place for families, couples, or anyone visiting San Francisco. ⭐ Nicole Recommends: If you’re visiting PIER 39, don’t skip Bubba Gump. Request a window seat if you can the views alone are worth it. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of the best waterfront dining experiences on the pier. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
