  This is the only Vons location I’ve ever had a problem with I’ve ordered through the app a couple times and have been disappointed each time. I ordered for a drop off slot at 6 pm a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t delivered until the next day even though I paid more to have it delivered at that spaces time window. Today I ordered again and a bunch of the items were marked as not in stock I asked for substituted and the person putting my order together said they were out of all substitutes to and sent a picture that had plenty of substitutes.

  The inadequate staffing and slow stock replenishment is a concern. Consistently, there are very long lines for the few checkout stands they have open. The lines are so bad that they go halfway through several aisles or reach all the way back to the alcohol aisle. This is a regular occurrence for this store.

  I would like to give more stars, but there are a multitude of Vons in my area, and this is the only one where the security guards keep following me around the store. Doesn't matter how much time I spend, which random direction I'm going in, dude will follow. I walk into store, he is at entrance. I go to wate, he is at water. I go to the front, he is... in the front. Once is a coincidence, every time I shop is not. I would like to say this is not racial profiling, but it sure feels like it when dude remains a feet behind me at all times as soon as I enter the store, but ignores the people that do not look like me. I shop here weekly as it is the closest store and the only one i have true easy access to. Truly unfortunate to have to come here and feel like this. Who would have thought that Europe was more welcoming than the US? Certainly not me. But yeah. Wow. Just wow...

  To the management: What are these BS, absurdly tiny price tags? Even people with perfect vision have to be less than a foot away to see the price. Perfect example of technology being a horrible solution to a non-existent problem. I assume management was convinced this “generates less waste” and “saves time” instead of printing paper… by creating billions of thick plastic e-ink price tags and batteries that will be in a landfill a few years from now. For every. Single. Product. Great work.

  The customer service is friendly, but the shopping app is a mess. My last two deliveries had missing items, and last time I called, I was told "Delivery is through a third party and we don't have a way of contacting them, but you can call Uber/Instacart to try and find the driver" even though I have neither app and ordered through Vons. I even asked for a refund, and was told that that was through a different line as well. And no point was a solution offered until the driver miraculously returned and a customer found the missing items sitting in the Vons parking lot. To which Vons -never- contacted me; I had to reach out to -them- to find out they did indeed have my missing item. The rep was very sweet and apologetic, but Vons clearly has a system set so when they make errors (and they do, repeatedly), they can shift the blame to others with no accountability. I would've given a 0 star if it was possible, but the customer service rep on the phone was nice and helpful.
