This is the 1st time I've had to complain about a Vons but I am so livid that I came in real quick to get one item. I guess pets are an issue with grocery stores. I had my Pomeranian in a backpack sealed in and on my back. If it weren't for the fact that it was see through, u would have never known she was there. And here comes Corey, a female, making a big deal about my dog who was not posing a problem to anyone. She was secured on my back. No one else had a problem with her. And I've never had an issue with any other store when I come in with her on my back. Is it that serious that u have to throw paying customers out?! I am so livid right now! Totally unprofessional and embarrassing. If this is the way she runs things then it makes sense why this Vons is the least busiest out of all the Vons I've been to. Bad move Corey

I wanted to share a concern regarding an employee interaction that has now happened multiple times. This is the third encounter I’ve had with the same employee where the attitude and customer service felt noticeably unpleasant and unwelcoming. The first interaction occurred at self-checkout when I needed assistance, the second while asking for help on the sales floor, and the third was recently at the cashier register. During this last encounter, the employee never smiled, greeted me, thanked me, or even acknowledged me directly after I paid. What made me especially uncomfortable was that she spoke about me in the third person to another customer instead of addressing me directly. The situation itself was lighthearted. The customer ahead of me had children and a large amount of groceries, and while waiting I jokingly said with a smile and friendly gesture, “Come on ladies, I don’t have all day,” followed immediately by laughter to clearly show I was joking. The customer clearly understood I was joking, and I still apologized to her afterward to further clarify that I was not being serious or disrespectful. However, the cashier’s reaction and comments toward the other customer made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The first two times, I tried to make excuses and assumed maybe she was just having a bad day. However, after multiple similar experiences, I feel this may need to be addressed so customer interactions can be more welcoming and professional. I also want to note that I did have one positive interaction with this same employee in the past when I was dressed professionally. The other encounters occurred while I was dressed casually, which unfortunately left me wondering whether appearance may have influenced the way I was treated. I own a business within the same shopping center, so I understand firsthand how important customer service, professionalism, and respectful communication are in creating a positive environment for everyone. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble, but I do believe respectful and consistent customer service should be extended to everyone equally.

Picked up some filet mignon for the family. Cooked it up & it came out soft and gritty inside when you cooked it — no one could eat it. It looked fine in the package, no discoloration, but the texture was off.

I love the store, and most importantly the team, they are all very friendly and helpful. But you have to get over pinching pennies with the bags. First it was no single use bags, then a charge of $.10 per bag, then reusable bags, then you switched to paper to save the planet, then you remove the handles from the paper bags? Every product in your store has either paper or plastic around it, or was in it to get to your store. Give it up. How do people with arthritis or similar carry their groceries? Stop virtue signaling and buy the bags with handles, paper or plastic it doesn't matter. And fire the bean counter that keeps trying to go cheap on the grocery bags. Thanks.
