  So, this is my main grocery store. It's local, has a variety of selections to choose from, and the crowd is just typical shoppers-not crazy. Was just getting groceries and the young man that was bagging my items in lane #2 was super great. He put all my items into my bags according to my request. I thanked him, he said, "you're welcome," and everything was good. Now, tell me why the cashier was super rude! I thanked her (young girl) after she handed me my receipt, but not once did she thanked me or greet me. I believe this is my second time checking out with this cashier. The next time, I will not go into her check out lane. It's called common courtesy. A customer service skill that she lacks. Some people should NOT be a cashier if they do not know how to greet or thank their customers.

  This is the crappiest Vons I've ever come across. Every every shopping cart is non-functional they don't have any baskets. It's got to be a corporate thing. These poor freaking employees. Go to a counter and you'll sit there for 20 minutes and realize the person working the counter is on lunch. They don't have anyone to cover they're not allowed to put up signs so you sit there and wait thinking someone's going to come serve you. Unorganized out of everything. This place is a freaking joke

  I am extremely disappointed with this Vons. I ordered groceries for pickup, I had a problem with the ground turkey. I noticed that the frozen cake I ordered was completely thawed out. I live five minutes away. When I removed the turkey out the package I noticed it smelled different. I thought maybe it was still okay, but I was wrong. When I was cooking it, I knew for sure it was spoiled. My son and I have compromise immune systems, and I did not want to take a chance. I called the night it happened and spoke to a supervisor she told me to call back the next day to speak to a manager and after I talked to that manager, she told me to request a refund online where I purchased my order and I did that. It denied my refund. I have no idea why it was not my fault. The meat was spoiled, I could not use it. I had to throw it away. It gave me a number to call. At first, it said it was going to refund my money. Then, I received an email from them two days later, saying it was the denied again. I called the number and the rep. told me she need to reach out to the store and see about getting my refund that way, however it was up to them. I spent a lot more money at this store than this little lousy $15 I lost with the turkey meat. I will not be back because they do help their customers. I believe in ethics and doing the right thing. However, I guess a lot of people do not. Just a heads up, be sure to check your items before you leave the store, especially picking up your order.

  My mom and I were shopping at the vons. And a white lady with a blue shirt was stalking and following us for no reason when all we were doing was shopping. She stated she worked as a “detective” but didn’t state her name and didn’t want to say it either. She had a young Hispanic male working with her as well and they discriminated against us for no reason and the 2 managers in the front said absolutely nothing at all and was letting it happen. We are paying customers and this is how we are treated?! She completely discriminated against us and harassed us and Vons employees let it happen!

  Catherine, the manager, is a 10/10. Super excellent customer service. And great personality.
