Food to me was not good at all. I’ve been vegan over 10 years and I got the Mac and cheese that had the chicken and for some odd reason tomato sauce. The flavors clashed and made me vomit. Like literally vomit . Spent 20 bucks for nothing . Also the chicken wasn’t even cut in pieces so it was hard to reach the mac and cheese . Maybe because I didn’t tip? Because I took the food to go so I didn’t see the reason to tip. So maybe that’s why they didn’t cut the chicken into pieces . Very lazy cooking if the only flavor is salt, oil, and tomato sauce . Just not for me . Def not going back

Absolutely wonderful. This satisfies my craving for greasy and tasty fast food that I can’t really enjoy since going vegan. They blew my expectations out of the park. Lowkey a little pricey for what is essentially fast food but its SoCal so thats expected. Highly recommend!!

The smash burger is “to live for”. The flavor was so savory and the “cheese” took it to another level. The wait was surprisingly long but it was worth the wait. I live over an hour away, but fate had me choose Val’s because Donna Jean wasn’t open, and I must say I often think about that smash burger and the fries were crunchy until the last bite and I am a very slow eater.

Jackie & Jillian were super sweet & helpful with placing our order and giving us great feedback/recommendations. Even the back of house smiled at me which made me feel welcome. We got the Veggielicious & Veggie KBBQ burgers and added curly fries to one of the orders for an additional $3. Both burgers were yummy since we had them cut in halves to share. I preferred the Veggie KBBQ and liked the regular french fries surprisingly over the curly ones. We plan to return in the future. Be mindful that there’s a small eating area since the location is shared with another restaurant which I found rare yet nice. The only improvement that I noticed was that the restrooms need tending to even though they were so cute inside. Gracias VVK! Sending the owners, staff and customers success 🙏🏼😇

Pulled in last night a little after 1030 to get something for my vegan partner. As we went in there was one or two people sitting down and one guy in line. Apparently something was wrong with this gentleman's order because it was literally 20 minutes of us standing right there at the counter before they figured out what was going on. I swear to God it look like they were typing out War and Peace on the iPads. It's not exaggeration either it was legit 20 minutes and all we got in the beginning was a, "one second!" We ordered a very complicated order. Fries, and cheese fries. (Sarcasm) Between the time that we walked up and finally ordered their ended up being about a dozen people behind us in line and after we ordered they were like by the way it's a 30 minute wait. What's funny is right before we ordered my partner said hey maybe we should order DoorDash and just go home and have them deliver the food to us and that probably would have been a better idea. So we sit down and now the place is kind of crowded with folks waiting for their food and another 30 minutes goes by before we're able to get two orders of french fries that we could have easily gotten vegan at pretty much any fast food joint drive-thru. I think the thing that bothered me the most was just the lack of urgency or care from the workers who were just kind of upset that so many people were there trying to get food. The guy next to me walked up to get some waters that he had ordered and they were like yeah I'll get them to you right away. 15 minutes later he left without his waters when their food finally came out. I don't know why it took two employees to fix the one order before mine that made us wait 20 minutes and why they're only seem to be one visible person in the kitchen. But you guys gotta get your shift together. Also a "large" curly fries is apparently just a clamshell hamburger box worth. Probably a medium anywhere else. And it was $7 with 2 bucks extra for the sweetest BBQ sauce I've ever tried (I actually thought it might be marinara? It was bizarre did not eat the rest of it) And then her "cheese fries" was just a little slightly larger kind of Chipotle bowl with a little cheese at the bottom not even on the top of the fries I think they put it in the package upside down... Yeah whatever you do don't go here at night, because by the time you get your food it might be morning.
