Fantastic place. It replaced a different Lao restaurant, and it's better! The fried catfish chef's special was really good.

Cool new Laotian food place. Food lacked a little flavor however.

This Lao and Thai restaurant is very good. I like that they serve authentic homestyle Lao meals. The aesthetic is super cute and up my alley. Don't mind the neighborhood. I prefer hole in the wall restaurants anyways. The Lao food here hits the spot and the servers are always nice.
My favorite things to order from here are the Lao sausages, sugar cane drinks, kaopoon chicken noodles soup, Lao bamboo soup, mok pa, and the Lao famous plate. Extra spicy Lao papaya salad was the best with raw blue crabs! Can't wait to try their fish panh next too. Please add kua mee or pad Lao to the menu! Other restaurants would not make it right.

Probably the best iteration of all the other South East Asian restaurants that have graced this corner spot.
So Saap flavors are so great. I admit that of the 5 times I've eaten here I've always eaten the same thing the crab fried rice and the Nam Khao Lettuce wrap.
The Nam Khao lettuce wrap is so good I drive across town to eat it. It's salty and crispy and a little chewy and has fresh and fried components,, crunchy nutty components and is full of flavors.
I promise you, you can't go wrong ordering this dish and it's enough food to eat as your entree but I suggest being festive and breaking bread, sharing these special lettuce wraps with a friend.
Covid: They are currently open for pickup, order ahead and dine in service. There is hand sanitizer at every table.
Vibe: the experience is down to earth and friendly. The owner is super joyful and enthusiastic about her cuisine so if ordering feels daunting just ask questions.

Highly recommend you try this place and the lettuce wrap!

So delicious! This place is such a treat. Everything we ordered was delicious (and we ordered a lot) but the Kao Soy soup and Larb salad blew my tastebuds off. Highly recommend this small locally owned restaurant. Really friendly people too.
