  The pizza was tasty and had that classic Hut flavor, plus the service was friendly and efficient. However, the wait for our order felt a bit long, and the dining area could use better cleaning. Overall, a decent experience, but there's room for improvement.

  I was actually looking forward to this, but the level of incompetence in the packaging is staggering. You managed to wedge the lid directly into the center of the slice, creating a pivot point that launched my pizza face-down onto the pavement the moment I opened the box. To lose a meal to the literal filth of downtown San Diego because someone couldn't be bothered to close a box correctly is beyond frustrating. A complete and utter waste of money, time and life. I hope that whoever boxed my pizza lives a life of pain and misery and may god have mercy on their soul.

  I had a really frustrating experience at Prince St. Pizza on 5/2/26 at approximately 6:36pm while picking up a DoorDash order. I was waiting to be helped, and despite clearly being there first, a male Caucasian staff member behind the counter chose to assist someone who came in after me. When I tried to get his attention, I was completely ignored. The interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful, and the employee’s behavior came across as rude and unprofessional. As someone who regularly interacts with businesses through DoorDash, basic acknowledgment and fairness go a long way. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on this interaction, I would not choose to support or recommend this location. If customer service matters to you, you may want to consider other options.

  Stopped by here for the first time on Free Comic Book Day to get a pizza collab with the new game Invincible Vs. The pizza was Burger Mart themed with Burger, pickles, and burger sauce. Delicious, salty, and briney. Should be added to the menu permanently imho. Second pizza though, absolutely flawless. That HOUSTON JALAPENO was the most heavenly slice of pizza I have had in San Diego County. Best pizza slice I have ever had, period. (Granted my usual pizza order is pepperoni, bacon, and jalapeño, so I may be biased.) It was salty, crispy, had soft and fluffy dough with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, spicy with delicious jalapeño, savory with those small cup shaped pepperoni, and a bit sweet. A deeper dish pizza than I would normally try, but I have fully converted. This was a 12/10. I will be back. I would recommend anyone who likes classic pepperoni and a bit of spice try it. This pizza spot smacks. Thank you. Compliments to the chefs & owners.
