- RZRandy ZeitmanMar 31, 20265.0Pick Up Stix gets unfair strike for bad (delivery) service ... but it's because of Door Dash, plain and simple. They're sometimes not responsible or kind. For example I ordered at 6:30 pm. The website says it'll take 45 min ... but not so with Mission Valley, in 15 minutes I got a message the food is on its way. Driver called from the front of my building, said come down and get it. I told him, as most every time with door dash, to use the call box, an arms length away. Five minutes later I get the message 'driver has delivered!' ... but not to be ... I chose hand-off in the order as I knew I would be occupied. 20 minutes later I got a break to go downstairs, nothing there. Call back the driver ... says "I'm at the next delivery, sorry.". Attempted to call Door Dash, the number disconnects on the first ring. I call Pick Up Stix, tell them, they affirm to me that there are deliveries problems with third-parties, the driven took no picture (because it would not show a hand-off) ... and in a half-hour they not only submit a claim (thx to Carla Mattioli | Regional Director) but I get a full refund. So don't blame Stix, the food was ready FAR ahead and the third-party delivery was 'normal'.
