  I’m convinced Papa Johns isn’t just sourcing better ingredients; they are sourcing better humans. Case in point: River. Usually, ordering pizza is a transactional exchange, but River turned it into a masterclass in world-class customer service. He wasn’t just kind—he possessed the kind of effortless, top-tier hospitality that makes you wonder why he isn’t running a Fortune 500 company or brokering world peace. The pizza was excellent, but River’s customer service was the real main course. If Papa Johns has a Hall of Fame, put this man in it immediately. Give him a raise, give him a bonus, or at the very least, name a crust after him. River, if you are reading this (or screenshotting it for the archives), keep being awesome. You completely made my day! 🍕🔥

  I stopped in ahead of time to confirm that I could call in a carryout order so it would be ready while we shopped. The employee assured me that this was fine and that I could still use the carryout deal over the phone. However, when I called, I was routed to a third-party ordering service that didn’t even have the deal available. After that, I finally got connected to the actual store but was left on hold for 15 minutes. At that point, I gave up and ordered from another pizza place. If you’re planning to order after 9 PM, don’t expect a smooth process, fresh food, or even a timely response. Really disappointing, especially because this is usually my go-to spot.

  Papa John’s Murphy canyon pizza has really gone down hill. This is our third time ordering and barely even eating what we got. The pizza used to be so good. Anymore we end up throwing it out. Not sure what’s going on. Definitely won’t be back.
