The assorted tempura was actually really good, just the shrimp wasn't very fresh. The rock shrimp tempura creamy spicy had way too thick a batter. It just tasted like fried dough wrapped in mayo tbh. The yellowtail was mushy and the lemon juice was SOOOO overpowering it completely killed any freshness of the fish. And the black cod miso had several bones in it šš Service was friendly, but the quality needs work. We waited forever just to order even though we reserved and came at 5:30 when the restaurant just opened. After taking my order, the server went to the next person, then circled back and started asking me again - completely forgot I'd just ordered š When food came out, they didn't track who ordered what and gave me my friendās dish (same table!). I get that it's busy or dishes look similar, but it really made me feel unseen. Also the pacing was rough - waits between dishes ranged from 10 to 20+ mins, and dessert took over 30 mins. I ordered mochi and the outer wrapper was literally like dumpling skin - zero mochi texture, tasted like it had been frozen foreverā¦ Friendly staff, but the food and service just didn't live up to the reviews.
