- JHJess HoffmanSep 29, 20265.0Stopped in during vacation in Mission Beach and everything was wonderful! Food arrived quickly and service was impeccable. I love the old school speakeasy vibes and the cleanliness of the restaurant as well. Definitely recommend making reservations here.
- RERebecca ESep 28, 20263.0I really think they had the right ideas but it is just not being executed properly. We ordered the charcuterie board to start, the server dropped it off and we had to ask for a breakdown of the board. Which they only described the garnishes, and we had to specifically ask what the meats and cheeses were which we got a "I'm not sure" and then a "I think this is xyz". We ordered the $95 bone-in ribeye. My husband and I are frequent high end diners especially for steaks, and this was the driest steak we have ever encountered, and had no flavor. Which we sent back and were told that happens because it was "dry aged". Thats not quite how that works lol. We did end up getting a regular ribeye which was decent, but nothing to rant and rave about. We also ordered a dessert, it was my husband's birthday and they brought out his birthday surprise dessert before our ordered dessert, which we were too full to enjoy the one we ordered. I wish that would have come out before taking our dessert orders or hinted there was something coming so we could enjoy either. Again, I think they have the right ideas, but server knowledge and kitchen output needs to be improved, especially to match the high pricing. I worked at a fine dining restaurant in my early 20s and they would give the servers a daily small sheet with the meats and cheeses of the day, specials, wines to get familiar with, things to focus on, ect. Just a recommendation for management. The drinks were great, kudos to the bartender. The lamb meal we ordered was also good, too salty, but had more flavor than the steaks. Would go back again if it was priced accordingly for the current standards.

The steak knocked it out of the park with the Filet and NY Strip. Alexa was our waitress and she had phenomenal recommendations and I wouldn’t pass on the butter cake. Will come back to Moe’s in the future.

The 15oz ribeye was seriously one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Only thing I’ll warn of is the price, steaks do not come with any sides at all. Only restaurant I’ve ever seen charge 13 dollars for a baked potato! But steak was so good!
- RRRinaSep 6, 20263.0Great looking place (retro ambient vibe) with decent food and lukewarm service. Dry aged duck was incredible, NY steak cooked to perfection, but fillet mignon was overcooked (medium instead of medium rare), pepper sauce was cold and crème brûlée was poorly made with no real crust (just slightly melted sugar with some not even melted at all), and topped with fresh berries except strawberries which were from a jam I believe. Bar menu was quite good with little issues besides crushed ice in the old fashioned instead of whole ice block which made it watery fast. Service was not the best with wine refills reliant completely on us/guests, table was quite cramped at times with empty glasses and stuff. Overall, if this dinner was at half price of what we paid that would have been appropriate, but at the current price tag it felt quite underwhelming for a steakhouse. Might return for duck!!
