I have been here 3 times only and all have had different problems. First time was March 26th, they released the Mario Galaxy happy meals. I went a little bit after lunch time, asked for it, and I was told that Mario Galaxy happy meal wasn’t going to come out until the 31st. I told the employee how it comes out that day, and should be available as it has been advertised. I was basically told no, and that McDonalds were going to start selling them until March 31st. I left confused, downloaded app at home that’s 7 min away from this location, and I was able to order a Mario Galaxy meal… i decided not to due to me being mad at the fact the employee could not double check. I get mistakes happen, but it is as easy as “let me double check”.
Second time was yesterday, ordered happy meal, curbside pick up, took longer than expect around 15min despite ordering 30 min ahead. Not a big deal for me, however I did not get the correct order and was missing extra small fries. Hamburger did not have ketchup or mustard, but it did have onion. Other than that everything “good”. I tend to be VERY patient and it didn’t really bother me. However with today’s visit being 3/3 instances they messed up, I decided to leave a review.
Today’s visit, after working night shift, I ordered at 7:32am breakfast. Got the “order ready” and I arrived at the store at around 8:03am. After waiting until around 8:24, almost an hour since order placed, I decided to get down. Like I said, I am VERY patient but decided not to wait any longer, although I did not want to get down bc of working overnight and being tired. Long story short, they only have one lady at the cashwrap taking orders. People prioritizing in-person and drive thru orders. Me and another lady ask for our food and how we have been waiting, we got our food and left. My food was of course cold, which I do not mind bc I actually like cold food, but I can see how that can also be annoying for most people.
I get working understaffed is stressful, my take is. Do not offer curbside pick up in the app if this location will not get appropriately staffed. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, there were maybe around 5 cars in line, + 3 ppl in person. However, by the way everybody was working, you could tell they were understaffed. I want to believe a reason of all these problems rise from that.
I have ordered at different McDonalds and this has been the only one where I have encountered problems like these
