- LPLinda PMay 12, 20261.0Luna Grill – Mira Mesa: Deeply Disappointing Experience I’m genuinely disappointed to write this because Luna Grill used to be one of my go‑to spots, but after my recent experience, I can’t see myself returning. I ordered a salad, and to my absolute shock, a water bug crawled out from the rim of the container. Not only was this disgusting, it immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the way they handle their produce. I called the store right away, sent them photos, and asked a simple question: Do you wash or rinse the salads before serving them? Their response was that the greens come pre‑bagged and that they do wash them—but clearly something is going wrong either with the bagged product or with their in‑house handling. Either way, a bug in my salad is unacceptable.
