- BFBill Frame3 days ago3.0We went to Oggi's, but being a big game day, it was packed with a waiting list. We decided to go to Karl Strauss because it's always empty. I wasn't terribly hungry, because I had leftover ravioli for lunch, but my wife was, she hadn't eaten since breakfast. We arrived, ordered a Mosaic and a Hefeweisen, which was good. Then we tried to find something to eat. I had an excuse, but nothing looked good to my wife either. Their food menu is really sad. We eventually just ordered fries - she ordered sweet potato fries, I ordered regular fries. I asked for Ranch dressing, got a little bitty tub of Ranch that did not last to the end of the fries. I lost interest before they were gone. My beer ran dry, took another 10 minutes or so before the waiter noticed. I'm beginning to understand why a once popular bar has become deserted.

- RJRaana JamshideSep 11, 20264.0Group of 7 people went for dinner. Unfortunately we ended up sitting outside and chairs were very uncomfortable. I got salmon with green. Salmon didn’t taste fresh but was ok overall. . Our waiter was very nice and attentive. What I loved was you can scan the menu and order on line and also pay on line. It works well for groups who every one can pay themselves and you don’t have to worry about splitting. Also easier for the waiters that don’t have to charge everyone separately.
