    I went to get a couple sandwiches. We arrived 8:45 pm, dining room door locked. All the staff looked at and looked away. Didn’t know that they close early on mondays. If you close at 8:30p, update your hours please

    I really want to like Jimmy John’s. I first got into them back in college on the East Coast, when they were popping up in college towns. It felt genuinely cool to get a decently priced sandwich that was usually ready by the time you scanned your credit card. My go‑to was always the Beach Club with sprouts — it was the only sandwich place I knew that reliably had sprouts, and it gave the whole thing a fresh, crunchy vibe I loved. After moving to California, Jimmy John’s wasn’t around for a while, and when locations finally started opening in the last few years, I was excited. But the newer version of JJ’s feels deflated compared to the original. No more sprouts. “Freaky fast” doesn’t mean much now that online ordering exists. The bread is still good — it makes the saltiness of the meats pop — but the guac spread they use instead of sprouts is basically a sadder avocado‑mayo. Meanwhile, competitors have really strong identities: • Subway — absurd variety and customization • Jersey Mike’s — fresh‑sliced meats and hot grill sandwiches • Firehouse Subs — steamed meats and tons of hot sauces • Ike’s — wild recipes, Dutch crunch, quirky ingredients Jimmy John’s used to stand out. Now it feels like the “standard mayo” of the sandwich world — not bad, just not distinctive. I still think the sandwiches are decent, but I miss the quirks that made JJ’s special. Honestly, at this point it might make more sense for them to lean into being a reliable, simple option in places like gas stations or convenience stores, or travel hubs like airports or train stations, spots where “freaky fast” actually matters again and where their quality would stand out more. Or have really late night hours, like have a drive-thru open until 2 in case you want you want something less greasy for late night eats. ---

    The girl managing this location is surprisingly rude and offensive. Had a positive visit here before but after such an unpleasant experience, we are done with Jimmy John’s. Skip this place and go to Jersey Mike’s! Higher quality ingredients and better service.

    I’d give it no stars if I could. I ordered a door dash order from this store, excited to try Jimmy John’s since we do not have any, anywhere close to where we live. They forgot one sandwich. The 2 we got were burnt and hard as a rock to bite into. I called about the missing sandwich and the person I spoke with was extremely rude, had zero idea what he was doing, mumbled all over the place, and after he finally talked to someone, I was offered a store credit. I live in the middle of this country. I will not be back in California… like ever. A lot of good a store credit is going to me. Terrible food. Terrible service.

    Worst jimmy John's I've been too. Completely messed up our orders after waiting 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Very disappointed not going back to this location.
