We have not been to Flemings in a while since many locations have closed - sadly. Took family to San Diego location for birthday. By far the BEST service EVER from a high end steakhouse was Juan- so attentive, patient and made us feel so special. He was busy but kept returning. To check on us and food , he did not mind our special orders ( hold this and add this…) we celebrated a birthday and he went over the top to make it special. Truly the best day. Salmon was excellent , one of two petite filet very good ( one was grizzly and not so good but what can you do) , chicken was also great. Salads are shareable so don’t let high price sway you. Drinks affordable. But the service was better than most and cannot say enough good things about JUAN . Request him and your night will overflow with expectations . We will return

We went for family dinner. It was 700 for three people. The problem was the food just did not live up to that price. The mashed potatoes were gluey. The pave potatoes were grey, totally oxidized so very unappealing. The green beans were greasy yet undercooked . The steaks were ok. The wine was excellent and the service was truly excellent and on point, no complaints there. Oysters also nice. But all in all never will go back again. I realize was a mistake to go downtown, they clearly cater to tourists that they don’t need to come back.

Run don’t walk over to Lou and Mickey’s. This place is absolutely not worth the price.Just a fancy version of Outback nothing special. Went to dinner and there were 6 people all standing around, and the only one working was the bar tender. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out almost well done, no one in the restaurant and seemed very rushed. Manager seemed like he’s having a bad day, not friendly or kind. Walked across the street and had a memorable dinner and will be going back to Lou and Mickey’s. Don’t see this Flemings lasting very long with the level of service and hospitality.

First time at this restaurant. We arrived without a reservation. The greeter made a reservation for us and we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. My wife was in a wheelchair and the staff was very attentive to place her where she wanted to sit. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Our server was great and tended to our requests. Ambience was outstanding.

I frequently dine here a lot, but the last couple of visits have been less than okay. . Not usually one to complain, but drinks were not tasting good one day And the woman bartender was trying to go back and forth about it . The manager did step in and offered a drink on the next visit . Well, I came in for Sunday fun day and the bar was full so I asked were we able to be seated anywhere else for the happy hour. The woman state didn’t know, but as she was talking, the manager came up and did not even want to greet. She knows that I’m a patron who comes and that our last encounter was not great yet when she walked up to the podium, she was trying to ignore and deflect eye contact, which made me feel like she didn’t feel like dealing with the situation from before. Which again it wasn’t a big thing, but we did not feel welcome..She stated it was busy and all the seats in the restaurant were “accounted” for but she could give us a drink if we ordered with the bartender, but we had to stand up and drink it. I’ve never heard of that. My sister asked is this standard procedure As we were flabbergasted. Needless to say We ended up leaving. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. The whole point was I was not there for a drink. We were there for an experience and to let them correct the mistake from the last time the manager did not handle it. I understand being under pressure but like I said there was no greeting and a very lack of customer service/ communication skills. Her reaction alone was enough to make me feel unwelcome and not want to come back.
