  I ordered something a specific way and it was not what i received, upon stating so to the person that took my order i received what i felt like said- i was putting them out for a shredded chicken instead of chopped. I shut my mouth and sat and ate and about half way through my meal she brought over the original ask. I now dont think she was being rude as much as i dont think she really understood my language and ask., either way the only thing worth remembering is that one human tried to make it right by another human. That experience was worth it. Theres always a lesson in our occurrences, we all need some grace,

  Placed a pickup order ahead online When I arrived my order was on the counter but I didn't want to be rude and just take it. There was one lady in line in front of me. There were 3 or 4 employees but after they took the order of the lady in front of me, I stood there for 10 minutes occasionally getting glares from one of the staff members before a different staff member finally walked up and helped me get my order. She was polite and considerate but after the disregard is had initially experienced, it just kinda killed the vibe. Food was as expected, El Pollo Loco is one of my favorite fast food spots and I make sure I visit every time I'm in the West.

  Some of you are really rating el pollo loco 3 stars with paragraphs talking about mouth feel and ambiance. It’s a fast food chain, and you’re not a real food critic. The foods consistently good and I haven’t had a harrowing experience at this store in the years I’ve been going here. Nice to have an easy healthy option in the neighborhood for crazy weeknights. 5 stars
