Tonight, for the second time, they gave me the wrong pizza. They’re not paying attention to their work at all and are very disorganized. The manager at the Domino’s in Carmel Valley should deal more strictly with the careless staff. This was the last time I order from them.

This neighborhood Dominos pizza spot is so close to my place. Convenient is an understatement. Add in the constant deals and you start to wonder if they’re running a business or just trying to adopt the whole neighborhood. Ordering with the app is dangerously easy: three taps and suddenly I’m committed to cheese and carbs again. The pickup is smooth, and the staff are genuinely lovely—super pleasant, helpful, and they somehow never judge my “back again?” face. If there were an award for “Nicest People Handing You Questionable Life Choices in a Box,” they’d win. Now, the pizza dough itself is…fine. Not life-changing, not offensive, just perfectly “ok,” like that coworker you’re happy to see but would never follow on Instagram. This time I went for onions and green peppers, which is where the comedy started. When I opened the box, I had to take out an actual magnifying glass to locate the onions. I’m pretty sure I saw more onion in the Domino’s logo than on my entire pizza. As for the green peppers, whoever or whatever sliced them has invented a new unit of measurement: the pepper sliver. These things were thinner than a matchstick and approaching theoretical physics territory—if they got any thinner, they’d be a suggestion, not a topping. Honestly, I’d be happy if they just did a proper promo for a “real toppings” option or bumped the price a bit so the onions and peppers could show up to work in full-size pieces. I’m not asking for a vegetable garden, just enough that I don’t need lab equipment to confirm they exist. All that said, I’ll definitely keep ordering. It’s close, convenient, the deals are great, and the team is awesome. This is my neighborhood spot, and I want to support them—just hoping next time my veggies come in 3D instead of 2D.

When ordering from the Google search redirect, I had originally clicked the Carmel Mountain location and put in my order through the browser. Only after did I realize that it had funneled my order to this location. Maybe it was user error, but we called got put on immediately after calling without being given a reason. It gave us a sense of hurriedness and when someone finally took me off hold, the girl over the phone asked for our order number (which didn't appear on the browser, this was a frustrating part of the user experience on top of not being able to cancel the order from our end) and we hurriedly give her the name for the order as well as the phone number after she asked. Then she hung up on us immediately without giving verbal confirmation. After calling back she said I was rude, to never call again, and hoped that I never go to the location. Sure, whatever, never planned on it. I called for an emergent cancellation and waited for what could've been our order in the oven before being able to cancel, and trying to be quick was rude apparently. This occured at 5pm on Jan 3, 2026.

We have not had the pizza, but I made a mistake and put the delivery time as 12am instead of 12pm. It was a large order for a party. I called them at 12am after the delivery guy was almost at my door and they were kind enough to cancel my order. I can’t thank them enough and this alone is 5 star service for me. Thank you. And sorry about the mess.

This Domino’s is amazing. There was a mixup with our delivery with a new driver and the manager, Blake, was one of the nicest, most professional managers I’ve ever met. Not only did he replace our pizzas, but he offered us a complementary repeat order to make up for the mistake. We received great tasting pizza and excellent customer service. I would definitely order from here again!
