Was so excited to bring friends to this location. Tried before but parking is tough. Loved going to the old location in Hillcrest before moving out of the area. Josie was our server Saturday and made our experience so much fun. She was absolutely delightful. Enjoyed the performances by the servers. Should spread more throughout restaurant. We will be back.
Definitely leaning into the retro 50s diner vibe. The place nails it with the exception of food. Service and ambiance hit the mark for what it is. But the food..... its really not great or even good. Nothing is made there. Even the kids chicken tenders are the cheapest pre-made and frozen ones. The burgers and sandwiches are over cooked, small, and just low quality. A true 50s diner wouldn't have any of that because it would have been made there. Also a $20 burger that is probably the worst I have had in 20 years makes it tough to handle. It really needs improvement and wouldn't cost the company that much to be mediocre at best.
This is the spot we go to for our sons birthday, he loves this place… this year… was a little different, this year we had a waiter named Ace, Ace had very little “flavor” about him, he didn't give that famous Corvette Dinner interaction we are all accustomed to. Once we were done we asked to speak to the manager to inform him of our thoughts, we wanted no discount, nothing free, we simply wanted to share our thoughts on this visit. The manager Biff came over right away and listened to our thoughts, went over and beyond for our boy 100% and that alone is what is going to take us back next year! Thank you again Biff for making our son’s day so special and truly caring. Definitely 5 stars for Biff!

FOOD POISONING.
I wanted to like this place so much, but it was incredibly loud (the music was deafening and they sat us next to a kids party when 2/3 of the tables were empty) and I got horrible food poisoning (both ends) from the roast beef. Zoltar took my money and didn’t give a fortune.

I've been meaning to go here for some time and I'm glad I did. This is a 50's inspired diner with lots of neon and good music playing from a DJ. The staff is very attentive and seem happy to work here. We ate here on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. The staff was so helpful and friendly, it was truly amazing. The menu has plenty of diner style food options and several beverage options including floats and shakes. The food was served up quickly and with quality, hot and fresh. This place is good for families with kids and can even accommodate birthday parties. The prices were very reasonable, and there was plenty of free parking. There are also other restaurants and activities in Liberty Station to check out. I highly recommend eating here if you are in the area so that you can experience both the atmoshere and the service, not to mention the food. Two thumbs up for this awesome place.
