  I’m a regular customer at this Chipotle, and today’s experience was disappointing. I saw chicken being freshly cut and asked if I could have some in my bowl. The employee refused, explaining that if they did it for me, they would have to do it for everyone. I understand there may be procedures to follow, but this felt like a simple request that could have been handled with better customer service. We ended up leaving without ordering. As someone who comes here often, I left feeling that my business wasn’t valued.

  When ordering my usual kids meal, the gentleman who started my order was very helpful and kind after asking for steak quesadilla. When I moved on to the sides, the manager, “Margarita” (right in photo) was very unpleasant and served me what appeared to be about 1/3 of the protein in my quesadilla, not close to the amount normally used to fill a side portion in the kids meal. During the interaction, the gentleman who initially helped me, handed Margarita the quesadilla, where she then gave him attitude, throwing the food back, asking whether it was cooked correctly. He seemed stressed and began second guessing himself, even opening the foil to check whether the quesadilla was properly cooked, it was. The interaction was uncomfortable to watch, especially because he had been very helpful at the start. I then asked for salsa on the side, and Margarita seemed to have an issue with serving it. She told me I would be charged extra for the sides. I am gladly willing to pay for anything outside of my order, but in this case, I don't think that's how it works at Chipotle. Extra for salsa? At the end, I asked the employee to the left of the photo (cashier) if Margarita was her name and whether she was the manager, but he refused to answer my question. Based on the way the employees interacted with her, it honestly seems as if they are uncomfortable or hesitant around her. I understand that this location is very busy, especially around rush hour (I was there around 4:30pm) but that shouldn’t come at the expense of basic customer service, especially from a manager. Chipotle is a restaurant I enjoy, and I hope the management team can work on creating a more respectful environment for both customers and employees at the Pacific Beach location.

  I really love this place, but my last visit was infuriating. I know what the portion sizes usually are; we ordered online and received a portion that was literally half the usual size. There were just a couple of pieces of chicken, hardly any lettuce—everything was skimpy! When I asked why, the manager just looked at me and said they could add some lettuce. It was a really unpleasant experience. So, come in and order on-site if you want a proper meal.

  Whatta dump. Trash bins overflowing. Below average for even a taco shop. Plenty of those to go to in PB. No guacamole to top it off:-(

  Expérience assez mitigée dans ce Chipotle le 19/08, en commande à emporter. La commande était prête assez rapidement, ce qui est un bon point. Côté nourriture, c’était correct mais rien d’exceptionnel. J’ai aussi trouvé les burritos plutôt petits. Ce qui m’a davantage dérangé, c’est l’état général du restaurant : la salle ne m’a pas semblé très propre et l’ambiance était assez peu accueillante. En regardant la préparation des commandes, j’ai trouvé le service assez peu soigné : les ingrédients et condiments étaient servis de manière assez « brusque », presque comme s’ils étaient simplement jetés dans les plats, ce qui ne donnait pas particulièrement envie. Au final, commande rapide et nourriture correcte, mais une expérience globale qui pourrait clairement être améliorée, notamment au niveau de la propreté, de la présentation et du soin apporté au service.
