  Keka, Mrs. Lawanda and Renaldo always have a great attitude and give wonderful service. This location now has an awesome team. My husband and I are always very satisfied with the product and love coming in.

  It’s good food, but I shouldn’t have to watch them like a hawk to get a decently sized portion. I’m paying 16 American dollars for a bowl. That should reflect in the portion. It’s frustrating to constantly a half filled bowl. This happens almost every time I’ve been to CAVA

  I come here a few times a week The staff and managers are always welcoming and kind! I’ve gone to the cava location near mission valley and it feels more like a fast food food joint but here at this location (DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO) it’s the complete opposite. Great atmosphere, food is always perfect, great servings, this place is worth every dollar I spend. I won’t forget to mention, MRS.LAWANDA she’s always making sure me and other customers are welcomed to the store. She’s very polite and making sure we get exactly what we order! Thank you to the cava team in downtown San Diego

  I had an amazing experience at CAVA today! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and every bite was packed with flavor. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and my bowl was prepared perfectly. What truly made this visit exceptional, though, was the outstanding customer service from Ms. Lawanda. She was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind from the moment I walked in. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made me feel valued as a customer and elevated the entire dining experience. It's rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their work and goes above and beyond to make guests feel appreciated. Ms. Lawanda is a true asset to the CAVA team. I'll definitely be returning, not only for the great food but also because of the excellent service she provided. Thank you, Ms. Lawanda, for making a great meal even better!

  I regularly visit CAVA, but after today’s experience, I will no longer be returning to this location. While waiting in line, I witnessed a manager named Melissa yelling at an employee who appeared to be the only one actively helping customers while other staff members stood by. The employee became visibly upset but kept working even when she clearly did not seem okay. The employee was extremely professional as she knew there was costumers, but Melissa was extremely unprofessional and it was upsetting to witness. I still can’t believe I witnessed someone being so hostile towards their employee. I hope this is the first and last time this happens. I hope this matter is addressed and that employees are treated with the respect they deserve.
