  I constantly buy flowers and I am always looking for the perfect arrangement. I have been to every Safeway between here and Carmel Valley, and I can confidently say that the best arrangements come from the Constitution location, especially from the florist Lilia. Lilia has a true talent for floral arranging, and every time she is in the store she offers to help or provide suggestions. I highly recommend stopping by this location and speaking with Lilia for your next arrangement.

  I purchased some deli meat a week ago, it didn’t agree with my family. I went to return it and was told they would not refund my money because I didn’t like it. Safeway has a two week return policy for customer appreciation. I told the young man I have shopped with Safeway for 50 years and had never seen denied a refund. He says you can talk to the manager. I was so upset by his treatment that I asked for my product back. I called and the manager who answered was very unstable in the way he addressed me. I couldn’t get a word in, he went from basically yelling at me to accusing me of attacking his employees?! I had to hang up as his demeanor was escalating to personal attacks towards me. I really like the store and was quite taken aback by this experience! I doubt I will go back anytime soon.. June 19, 2026 6:00 p.m. more than five unanswered calls to customer service 6:30 he answered, wouldn’t clarify his name. The worst experience ever!

  Delicious deli food, 10/10. Staff at the deli is atrocious. I didn't catch his name but being resistant to customer requests is the opposite of good service. Picking up lunch for two people, I order 2 chimichangas and 2 pizza sticks. After he bagged those items, he was bagging wedges. I noticed there's a deal to get 5 items for 5 dollars. When I pointed this out to ask for another chimichanga, his response was "each item is like $1" then printed the label for my "deal" at $9.98. I pointed that out and he told me the price would go down when I entered my number. That did not happen. So I go back and wait in line again to explain that it did not go down because its not the right quantity. When he finally decided to work and add 1 chimichanga, reprint the label and I go back to check out, successfully saving $9 on my meal. Not the greatest interaction, I don't drive out of my way 15 minutes for lunch to have an interaction like that.
