This is a small "local market" Safeway. It's got a smaller selection of goods than some locations. Don't expect a expansive selection of non-staple items. I've never been surprised by the things I've been unable to find though. It's clean, well maintained, well stocked of what it does carry, and the employees are friendly and helpful.

Bought some unusual olives I've never seen before for my sister. Jalapeño stuffed olives. My sister loves them

⭐☆☆☆☆ I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Safeway. After a long work week, I stopped in to shop for groceries for my son’s school lunches, my work lunches, and dinner for my family while I was already in the area shopping for my new apartment. My experience started off great. The gentleman in the meat department was incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding customer service. Manager Dan also took the time to help me pick out the Safeway Select bacon, and I appreciated his assistance. Unfortunately, my experience at the deli completely changed my opinion of this store. When I walked up to the deli counter, the associate made eye contact with me but didn’t acknowledge me for several minutes. When she finally asked how she could help, I requested about $5 worth of mesquite turkey. She immediately told me she couldn’t do that and that I needed to tell her how many pounds I wanted. I politely explained that I didn’t know the weight and asked if she could simply stop slicing once it reached around $5. She then told me they didn’t have mesquite turkey, so I asked if I could try the oven-roasted turkey that they use for the sandwiches. She told me the deli doesn’t offer samples. The employee working the fried chicken immediately corrected her and said they do offer samples. Only then did she give me one, and it was obvious she was irritated. After tasting it, I politely asked if I could try one other turkey before deciding. Her attitude became even worse. I felt so uncomfortable that I told her it was okay and that I’d rather have the other employee help me because he seemed much more welcoming. Instead of simply letting him assist me, she became argumentative. She told me I “needed to learn patience,” that she was new, and that she wasn’t “going to explain nothing” to me. When I asked to speak with a manager, she responded that she “didn’t give a damn.” She then came back and told me the manager was too busy to come. I ultimately had to find the manager myself. To make matters worse, another customer standing nearby mentioned that they had also experienced poor customer service at this location. Being new is never an excuse for speaking to customers that way. I remained calm, respectful, and polite throughout the interaction, and I simply wanted help choosing lunch meat. The only reason I’m not giving praise to the entire store is because the employees in the meat department and the gentleman working the fried chicken station were excellent and treated customers with kindness and respect. They deserve recognition. I hope management addresses the customer service in the deli department because no customer should be treated this way.
