  We had an amazing experience at La Porta! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. A special thank you to our server, Rose. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Her excellent service made our dining experience even more memorable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend La Porta to anyone looking for outstanding food and exceptional service!

  We grabbed pizza and salad for take out. Delicious crust, generous with the toppings; all around great flavor. Very friendly and professional staff! We will definitely be back.

  We went on a Sunday at 6 and I want too surprised to see o ly 1 other couple in the restaurant. We walk in for our reservation, and immediately the bartender (maybe server) grabbed a few menus and told us to follow him. Didn't ask if we had other people in our part or if we had a reservation. It's Sunday and dead, I get the presumption. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a few drinks and they didn't know the names of the food or drink, just what the English version was. Not a big deal, but you'd think they'd know the Italian names. We received the wine (heavy pour and delicious) and the antipasti, which pared gorgeously (Barbara and the rose pinwheels), but we're taken aback by the amount of sauce and serving. We each ordered 2 small pizzas and they were cut to 4 slices each but could have easily been 8 (not a big deal). But the issue was the amount of cheese. The blue cheese on the Como was overpowering and heavy. The cheese (soup) on the frienze was liquid and also overpowering with the ricotta, which felt more sporadically placed as gloves of it were in the weirdest spot. Again, it was a Sunday, and it was slow but the food was not to the level I'd expect.

  Delicious options, went with the mushroom and arugula. The arugula was a bit heavy-handed but the pizza was delicious overall. Other customers had these thick-looking pizzas that if I wasn't alone, I would have ordered because just the sight of them had my mouth watering from the toppings to the deep crust.

  This is the best traditional style pizza in Sacramento. The menu has excellent options for everyone. There is a full bar with TV's, large space for big parties. The staff is kind and attentive, you couldn't ask for anything more. I frequent this place at least once a month. I've been here with family, friends, and for date night with the wifey. I would recommend this place to anyone.
