  We had a party of ten celebrating two birthdays. Beto was our server and did a great job of keeping things moving. We are typically not a seafood family but everyone was able to find something they liked, even the kids. The setting sun was a little glaring which did make half the table uncomfortable for a while.

  Lovely restaurant to go on a date and to enjoy some seafood. Oh, and delicious cocktails with cups that you can take with you as a souvenir is so cool. They have amazing staff, server Alyona is lovely, kind, and super friendly she will suggest what's best on the menu. We really enjoyed our time at Joe's Crab. Definetly will be back! Thank you!

  The food is good and the atmosphere in Old Town Sacramento is great, but unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses were rude. To make matters worse, the person serving our food looked angry at the world and was very discourteous when bringing our order. It’s a shame because the meal itself is enjoyable, but a bad attitude from the staff completely ruins the experience. As a customer, I look for the full package, and after being treated this way, I don't feel like coming back.

  The hostesses were a little indecisive and confused. They didn’t realize I had a reservation and then tried to put me in a different spot saying there were people showing up with reservations and I had to remind I made a reservation a week prior. It was quickly evident how much experience the busser had because he corrected the hostess and got us to a new table because the one she sat us in was dirty. Our waiters were on it and never missed a beat. The food is always amazing and so are the drinks plus it was nice to have the manager come over and chat with us. We ended up buying a couple pictures that we didn’t do last time we were here.

  Jeremiah made our visit to Joe's Crab Shack genuinely memorable. From the moment we sat down, he brought great energy, checked in at the right times, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. He knew the menu well and gave solid recommendations, and everything came out exactly as expected. What stood out most was his attitude—friendly, attentive, and really focused on making sure we had a great experience. Service like that makes a big difference. If you get Jeremiah as your server, you’re in good hands. We’ll definitely be back because of him.
