- KKKen KOct 5, 20265.0I'm not a expert on gumbo or southern food in general, but the gumbo at Howards is awesome. A $5.00 small bowl with 2 shrimp and links the rest of the menu looks great. Service was fantastic. The tent gets a bit hot in the Sacramento sun, but the food is worth it. This willl definitely be a regular lunch stop as the weather turns cooler.

The pick up took a lil longer than expected since the food wasn't ready but was fine because it was fresh. The catfish was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The fries were good also but could use a lil more seasoning. Will be back for takeout but take note it's not really a sit down and eat type of place.
