  We come from about 55 miles away to get food to bring home, it is that good! The ribs are meaty and fall off the bone. The sauce is sweet with just a little spice, delicious. We love the Mac’n cheese! Very creamy and cheesy, delicious flavor. Actually everything is really good here. Also…..everyone is so friendly and helpful!!

  This is the second time we’ve ordered online from this place and been charged after our order was confirmed for pickup, only to have a bad experience. The first time, they remade the food after an issue, but the customer service was unapologetic and unfriendly. We decided to give this Black-owned business a second chance because we believe in supporting our community. This time, our order took a long time to be marked ready, so we tried calling multiple times. No one answered, and there was no voicemail or answering service. Our order was confirmed and charged at 7:55 PM, even though the restaurant closed at 8:00 PM. I drove there and arrived right at closing. I tried speaking to the owner, who was outside by the grill, but he ignored me and walked inside. Unfortunately, after two disappointing experiences, we won’t be ordering from there again. Supporting your own community should come with mutual respect and professionalism.

  Took my mom there for Mother’s Day. The parking lot was full when we walked in there were people waiting for Their order we stood in line for almost 30 minutes. The people that were there when we showed up still has not received their food. Cashier was nowhere to be found so I ended up leaving never going back.

  Super friendly staff; polite and smiling at me, made me feel welcome. Food: Yummy! I got a hot link lunch with a side of cabbage, and peach cobbler dessert. The meat was delicious and smokey, the spicy barbecue sauce was very flavorful with a hint of molasses I think. The cabbage was tender and super flavorful (definitely recommend it) and the cobbler is fantastic.

  I placed an online order and had to wait 30 minutes past my order ready time. When I got to the counter they were out of some items that I ordered so they doubled me up on some sides to make up for it, the attitude was more of a "take ot or leave it" attitude. When I got home and opened the food I was missing the peach cobbler which I paid for. Make sure you check your food before you leave
