- BKBonnie Kaiser5 days ago1.0I was returning an item today, 8/25/26, that expired on 8/12/26 and was bought on 8/22/2026. I saw an employee put a perishable item that was just returned right in front of me by another customer back on the shelf. It was Risers, macaroni, or potato salad, large tub. This process looked like it was normal procedure, so I contacted corporate, who is now investigating it. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to know what is happening with our food. Stay safe and make sure they don't put it back on the shelf.

I couldn’t find it at first (I walked right past it on accident), but when i came back around I saw it on the corner. A worker was walking by and tapped on the machine, he saw that it was restocked. He passed for a moment and looked around and then proceeded to take out his wallet and buy the cards and ignored the fact I was watching him. Is this really what Safeway allows? Workers on shift are allowed to buy Pokémon from a machine that barley restocks and take away from customers. Unfortunately I couldn’t find his name but he was wearing glasses. I’m really annoyed by this situation and I hope someone can take care of this or reach back out to me.

Bought two items and one of them was diapers and she informed us about diapers that were discounted in the corner was super patient and friendly while we ran to see if the bigger box was cheaper and was so glad to help us out to find out the bigger quality was cheaper than the smaller box. Give that lady a raise! She was so sweet!
