- AJAmy Jager5 days ago1.07/3/26 @ 9:55pm the large woman at the cash register wouldn't even greet me or say thank you or ask me if I'd like a bag. Nothing at all from her whatsoever. Please give some customer service. You can greet saying hello, and say thank you, and ask if someone wants a bag. It's not that much effort. Horrible horrible.

And their deli department reminds me of going to a whole foods with a ton of deli foods to choose from like Chinese food, sushi, sandwiches, tons of sides like pasta salads and a hot food bar with wings , baked chicken fried chicken, also a really big area with all kinds of cheeses and other quality snacks

I bought the first one, and my husband was alone shopping, bought the 2nd bird, not remembering as I had refused to serve him the OLD dried out bird. Did Safeway get a new cook or did you change brands of chickens? Possibly both? The first chicken was roasted in a bag. The 2nd chicken was in a tray with some tough, UNDERCOOKED green beans. So now, people are afraid to cook the beans, or want US to finish cooking them to make them edible. I'd have more pleasure going to a fast food joint.
