I have seen this restaurant pop up many times across social media, so I arrived tonight genuinely excited to see if the food could actually live up to the immense online hype. Visually, the restaurant is clean and boasts a well-laid-out dining room. Unfortunately, the comfort of the environment quickly went downhill. There were multiple flies actively buzzing around my food as I tried to eat. Additionally, while the inclusion of live music is conceptually a nice touch, the volume was turned up a bit too loud, which ultimately made holding a basic conversation very difficult.
The meal itself revealed a shocking lack of kitchen oversight and quality control. I started with the bacon Brussels sprouts, which arrived completely black and burnt. They were cooked to half-past dead, and a harsh charcoal taste totally dominated the flavor profile. To make matters worse, the accompanying balsamic vinegar sauce tasted incredibly funny. It was a true fight to figure out which was the worst flavor in the entire dish. The only part that was even remotely decent was the bacon that managed to escape being covered in that sauce.
My entree was the Pork Porterhouse, which suffered from identical preparation failures. The sauce had a highly off-putting flavor that closely resembled old, expired applesauce. The pork chop itself was also quite tough and heavily overcooked.
Bottom line: there is a blatant lack of standard quality control at this establishment, and the kitchen acts like they do not care what they are forcing their customers to eat. It is completely beyond me how a restaurant can confidently serve severely burned food and expired flavor profiles. The absolute only decent part of the entire visit was the service. Obviously, I strongly cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
