The chicken, okra, and corn fritters were pretty good. I noticed something strange in the menu, it's more expensive to order the 10 piece chicken combo then it is to order the 10 piece chicken and large side separately. When I mentioned this at the counter, the employee with the nose ring rolled her eyes and sneered. Not sure what I did to deserve her judgment and disrespect, usually combo items are worth it because you pay less for the combo then if you ordered it separately. Next, what's going on with the box size, the chicken didn't even come close to going into the box so the top would fold closed, so the box was all the way open and the chicken fell out into the bag. Why have boxes that close, then fill it so full it won't close? Maybe use a small second box so they both close, or Tetris the pieces to fit in the bigger box where the box will fold closed. The last thing made me laugh, and coupled with the rudeness, I'll head to Albertsons for their fried chicken, then add some cayenne and creole seasoning, plus Albertsons employees are a lot nicer. I asked for a few salt and pepper packets, the answer was, "we have it, we don't give it out", then she told me about all the dips they have. To dip the fried chicken in ranch, or any other dip is doing it an injustice, it'll take away the deliciousness, maybe for chicken strips, but not for fried chicken. Anyway, if they have salt and pepper packets, why can't they give them out? The bill was over $50, did I not pay enough to get a couple of packets of salt and pepper? Maybe the condiments issue was just a communication breakdown.
