- EOElaine OsunaOct 15, 20265.0I will never ever understand why anyone goes to Taco Bell when there is an El Pollo Loco nearby. Their salsa verde quesadilla is really delicious and the spicy avocado salsa is one of the best fast food sauces of all time. The chicken tortilla soup will bring you back if you have a cold - it literally will cure you. For value, quality and food that doesn't make you feel awful because it's so full of junk, el Pollo loco is the best choice. It is consistently SO good.

- EYEd YuJul 28, 20254.0El Pollo Loco is one of those restaurants that once you try it you will often crave to eat it if you haven't been there for a while. This is a location close to the Costco in Santa Rosa if you happen to pass through the area back to the Bay Area. The place is right next to a miniature golf place so you may turn in too soon to the wrong parking lot if you are not careful. I love the Roja (fiery) sauce for the chicken and it definitely has a delayed kck to it which I enjoy. Even if you don't use any sauce the chicken is juicy and tender. I wish you can order the chicken without the sides because I don't like the sides and feel like I almost always waste most of the sides.
