  I gave Rockstar Shrimp a try because I was looking for good fried fish and shrimp nearby. I ordered the butterfly shrimp and chips, fish and chips, and six-piece oysters. Unfortunately, the entire meal was disappointing. The fries were too small, overly seasoned, and very soggy. All I could taste was oil and the zesty Cajun seasoning. Better fries, less seasoning, and allowing the excess oil to drain before serving would make a big difference. The breading on the fish, shrimp, and oysters tasted cheap and lacked flavor. The tartar sauce was also disappointing, it tasted like low-quality, store-bought sauce. Overall, I did not enjoy the food and would not return. The fries, breading, and tartar sauce all need improvement.

  This place has been my husband’s and I go to every weekend that we are able to get a small date after a long week away from our kiddos. Close to home and very welcoming. ❤️

  Horrible customer service. Came in with family there was about 9 of us. 1 of them not eating due to them having a food allergy and the place cross contaminating with their foods. They had to order else where. The 8 of us then waited. The firs group of 4 ordered on one check and the other four ordered on another check. With our understanding a party of 6+ or more will be added a $25 dollar gratuity. WHICH WE WERE FINE WITH PAYING $25 ON ONE TAB AND WE WERE GOING TO TIP BASED ON OUR SERVICE ON THE OTHER. TIPPING ON BOTH OF THEM. However, service was horrible. They were 20 minutes late with one of the groups order. They didn’t bring one of the groups fries and appetizers. This was disappointing. When it was time for the check. BOTH! Tabs had a gratuity. It would be reasonable if 1 tab had a gratuity but BOTH of them had a $25 dollar charge when service was horrible and late. When we asked about it the manager said she was willing to pay to one of the gratuity very loudly. I’m not sure why she was trying to make us feel guilty when she did not deserve the gratuity while the other young woman brought us the food. Will never be coming here again. 1. First, the gratuity was not an issue simply because the checks were split. Even if we had kept everything on one check, we still would have been charged the additional large-party gratuity, which my question is why are we being charged double.(charged as two large party’s ) So splitting the checks was not an attempt to avoid the policy, and that was never the point of my complaint. Second, regarding the food coming out at different times, our party arrived about 10 minutes after the other portion of our family, but we all ordered together once we were seated. We did not intentionally place our orders at significantly different times. We were told that the orders were entered at different times, and that resulted in some members of our family waiting considerably longer for their food. From our perspective, that was a service issue, regardless of whether the orders were entered separately in the system. The fact that we answered “everything is fine” when checked on does not mean we were completely satisfied with the overall experience. Many customers aren't going to confront a manager during dinner, particularly when they are there with their family. Unprofessional response from the manager to fail to see the problem.

  Tiffany and Sandy were awesome! The customer service was top tier, seated quickly, and they checked in frequently! The food was amazing, the sauce was the perfect amount of spice Definitely coming back
