- DBDaniel Bowler1 day ago1.0The drive-thru set up is terrible. You have to turn in a parking lot and drive around the parking lot to find the drive-thru line. The entrance to the drive-thru is confusing once you get to the correct area. (I have used drive-thru previously) I placed an order using the app. About ten mins later the app told me “your order was ready.” Meaning, someone manually entered in their system that my order was ready. I go in the store and give them my info for my order. They tell me that my order is still being assembled. I sit down in the packed lobby. Around 20 mins goes by and I walk up to the counter and ask if there was an update with my order. The person grabs my order from their food storage area and says that they heard them call my name. There is no way I could hear a person softly call my name in that seating area. They should be louder or walk into the seating area and call names. From when my order was placed to when I was handed a salad (I only ordered a salad), it took around 40 minutes.

You end up preordering only to have to join the line with everyone else. The whole point of that feature is to expedite the time, so it's pointless here. I was going to switch it to pick it up inside but it was too late by the time I got in line. The drive thru employee that asked for my name was also unprofessional with his tone. Pretty surprised to be honest.

I also want to give a huge shout-out to her manager, who was just as incredibly kind and welcoming. The way they treated me was honestly so refreshing and reminded me that sometimes the smallest interactions can make a really big difference. I walked out of Chick-fil-A genuinely happy, and that says a lot.
