  Jul 6/2026 security won't let me in at 9:57 pm I just wanted to grab a chicken and that's it. Store closes at 10 pm. I won't go here again, waste of time and gas. Check with your security they not following store hours 👎👎👎

  I have been a customer and neighbor of this Vons for many years, and that is exactly why I feel compelled to update my review today. On June 9, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM, I had an extremely unpleasant interaction with a young employee dressed in black near the entrance. I approached her politely and with a friendly attitude to ask a simple question. To my surprise, she did not even allow me to finish speaking. She appeared visibly upset, interrupted me immediately, and raised her hand in front of me as if telling me to be quiet because she was about to do something else. I was honestly shocked. I was simply trying to ask for a bag and show my receipt. Instead of receiving basic courtesy, I was met with rudeness and disrespect. I work in customer service myself, and I understand that everyone has personal and professional challenges. However, part of the job is treating customers with respect regardless of what may be happening behind the scenes. This interaction left me stunned. I have never experienced anything like this at this location. I strongly encourage management to review the security cameras from that time. The footage will clearly show the way I was treated and the manner in which this employee interacted with me. It was completely unacceptable and not representative of the level of service customers should expect from a company as important and respected as Vons. That being said, I want to be fair. This experience does not reflect the majority of the staff. In fact, almost every employee I have encountered over the years from the security guards to the cashiers and other team members—has been consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. That is why this incident stood out so much and why I hope management addresses it appropriately.
