Avoid this place—especially for special occasions. We made a reservation for Mother’s Day hoping for a lovely family meal, but what we got was a masterclass in how to alienate customers. The Service: Absolutely abysmal. From the start, the staff acted like they couldn't be bothered. The Food Quality: We requested a replacement for the mint chutney because it was essentially green water. Not only was the quality poor, but our request for a fresh batch was flat-out denied. The Kitchen's Excuse: To make matters worse, we tried to order Paneer Tikka. The chef refused to make it, claiming they were "out of ingredients" for a staple appetizer. On one of the busiest dining days of the year, how does a professional kitchen run out of basic ingredients? It’s clear this management doesn't value hospitality or basic preparation. If you want to be told "no" by a chef and served watered-down condiments while paying full price, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go somewhere that actually understands what "customer service" means. Total disappointment.

This restaurant has some of the BEST Indian food I’ve had in Sacramento. The flavors are amazing and the chef clearly knows what they’re doing—every dish we’ve tried has been excellent. Unfortunately, the service experience has consistently been disappointing, which is why I’m leaving this honest review. First time: we placed an online order while I was heavily pregnant. My husband went for pickup and ended up waiting a long time outside. After the pickup time, we were called and told an item was unavailable and replaced with biryani instead of chowmein. He still waited over an additional half hour. I also ordered a fresh lime soda, but by the time the food arrived home it was completely flat and watery, likely prepared much earlier. Second time dining in: the wait to even place an order was around 25 minutes despite only a few tables. Food was great, but service was very disorganized—items came at different times, naan arrived very late, and the appetizer came at the end. Again, the fresh lime soda was never brought despite reminders. It was eventually removed from the bill. Third time (online): one item was missing again, but was quickly replaced which I appreciated. However, the fresh lime soda was once again missing. At pickup, staff said it wasn’t included, but the receipt confirmed it was paid for. After calling the restaurant, I spoke with the server Shrestha, who initially denied it, then acknowledged it and refunded it. However, when I politely asked her to please ensure this doesn’t happen again, the response was defensive and she said it was the kitchen’s fault, not hers. What I would have appreciated in all these situations is simple accountability and better communication between staff and kitchen, rather than repeated missing items or delays. Overall, the food is genuinely outstanding and one of the best Indian spots in Sacramento. But the service, organization, and order accuracy need significant improvement for the experience to match the quality of the food.

Great find in Rancho Cordova! From the moment we walked in, the experience was warm and welcoming. Arishma took great care of us—she was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which really helped with our selections. We were served papad with tamarind chutney right after being seated, which was a nice touch. The masala soda was refreshing and a perfect start to the meal. For starters, we had the gobi Manchurian, lamb chops, and tandoori pomfret. Everything was flavorful and cooked really well, but the lamb chops were definitely the standout—perfectly seasoned and tender. For the main course, we ordered butter chicken, chicken Chettinad, nalli roghan josh, and a basket of naan (cheese kulcha, garlic naan, and bullet naan). Each dish had great flavor and paired really well with the fresh naan. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food and service. We’ll definitely be coming back and bringing family next time!

Best Indian food we have had in a longtime. We had the Lamb Korma and the Butter chicken and the meats melt in your mouth, so much flavor and the onion naan bread is delicious. Will definitely make this a go to spot when we are here.
