- KGKristy GossAug 30, 20261.0I visited the Porterville location on Sunday at approximately 1:15 PM and placed an order in person at the counter. After waiting about 15 minutes, my husband went up to check on our order. The employees could not locate it and asked whether we had ordered by phone or at the counter, even though that employee had personally taken our order at the counter. At that point, we decided to leave. The experience was extremely frustrating, especially since the restaurant was not busy at the time. Waiting 15 minutes only to find out that our order had apparently been lost or never entered was very disappointing and a waste of our time.

Corporate responded saying the owner of the location would contact me within 48 hours, that didn’t happen. Daniel was extremely aggressive, and unprofessional. He was mumbling and slurring his speech. He became aggressive and confrontational. Daniel approached me and got into my face when I told him I couldn’t understand him. He then began arguing with me. There are other complaints about his aggressiveness. Obviously he’s related to the owner. Don’t support this location.

There don’t seem to be any promotions or specials to help justify the cost. The service was also underwhelming. Employees appeared more focused on their phones and socializing with each other than providing attentive customer service. The overall experience felt average at best, especially considering the high prices. I don’t mind paying more for quality food and great service, but neither stood out during my visit. For the cost, I expected much better food, customer service, and overall value. I left feeling like I paid premium prices for a very average experience.
