I love the hot Cheeto tacos and the salsa verde reminds me of my grandma’s green salsa. COCO is a super friendly and always helpful. Would recommend to anyone seeking some yummy carnitas.

My husband did a small taco catering order here a few weeks ago with this business and unfortunately it was not good at all. Right when I opened the container I could tell the meat (specifically chicken) was old and dry. We tried it anyway and just as suspected, it was terrible. $30 for 2 Ibs of this meat that no one ate. The asada was better taste wise but there were a lot of inedible hard pieces as well. Horchata had a strange after taste. 2 stars because the rice and homemade tortillas were really good. However when you're spending over $100 to feed your family a good comfort meal, it's unfortunate when it doesn't deliver.

They do make some great carnitas, but the menu has plenty more options to offer. The food is tasty and made well and the service is pleasant. As a local, I believe this is a city favorite restaurant. Support our local businesses, Oxnard and Port Hueneme residents!

We had an excellent experience at Carnitas El Brother! We ordered the carnitas Crunchwraps, and they were absolutely delicious—full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly made. The customer service was outstanding as well. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing carnitas and great service!
