  This is an amazing place. The food is excellent, as is the service. I come here every time I am in Pomona and miss it now that I have moved away. If you haven’t been here, you really need to give it a try.

  We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant Our energetic, friendly hostess Tyler made our experience extremely enjoyable. It was our first time here and the positivity,atmosphere and the welcoming attitudes of the staff is a reason why we will absolutely return! The food is great! Real authentic Jamaican cuisine we love love love, Hilltop Jamaican Restaurant!

  Was excited to try this place out since it’s the closest Jamaican food I could find near my school. Being from the east coast, I have a pretty high standard of Jamaican food and this was extremely mid. I ordered the jerk chicken and it was okay, extremely small portion for 18 dollars. They forgot my plantain as well. The best thing I had was the beef patty, I was skeptical about it because it was bright orange. Probably won’t be back.

  I stumbled across this place as an act of desperation because I miss the Caribbean food from NY. I ordered the brown stew chicken. It had plenty of flavor. Not too salty. I can see why someone would say it’s a little bland. I personally enjoyed it. I just wish they put more in the platter. Usually Caribbean restaurants stuff your platter to the hills. Especially with the rice and cabbage. That’s my only complaint. I’d definitely go back. The vibe is cool and outside deck looks like a fun time. The waitress/cashier was pleasant as well!

  We loved this place. However the food came out staggered.. meaning we never got the plantains. The service was good. I ended up at 30 dollars for Curry goat and the jerk chicken was around 20. The bill for 2 people was 60 and I left a 20 percent tip. If you go tell them you read the yelp review and I asked that you get my plantains. God bless. Lol.
