- SBSheree Butterfield4 days ago1.0There is a female store clerk/ manager? that is turning the volume all the way up on the quick lane registers and the machines literally scream at you so loud that it is very disturbing!!! I've never had machines scream at me & other customers like this and I've been told she thinks it deters theft. I am a paying customer and do not need to be screamed at by any machine or register!!! I've heard alot of people complain about this issue. I'm sick of it!!!! I am also going to make a complaint with corporate about this!

Kelly is always working so hard and running around, answering calls, filling bags, and loading groceries in cars. I hope safeway treats these people well because they are ALL making regular customers happy.

The one day I came with my two children who I was having a hard time with after my mom just passed away I had 17 items in my car in the manager at the self-checkout says you need to go get in the the other line because this is 15 items or less. Great no problem getting that line wait 15 minutes something I could have checked out myself in 2 minutes. The 15 items or less should be removed. People like checking their own items out when they're a little bit quicker. What a stupid thing to say. Next time let somebody check themselves out when they don't have much more manager was quite rude.
