While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Paso Robles,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

- HKHenry KrzciukJul 16, 20263.0We tried eating there a few times recently after several years. There was almost no service and dirty tables. The side dishes like macaroni and cheese and the beans and the rice were just barely warm. The tortillas were cold. We tried three times over the last 2 weeks to no avail. The food was the same. On the positive side, the chicken breast was hot but dried out tough.
- JFJennifer FaatzMay 20, 20265.0I was bummed they sold out of coleslaw but we were still able to get two Family orders with delicious sides along with dessert...it made such a difference on my mother's day weekend to not have to cook but still feel at home with comfort food.... always consistent
