We stayed at the Pasadena Hotel and found this gem while looking for a place to grab a quick snack before hitting the road the next morning. They had just opened so they didn’t have coffee ready, but the food was out quickly and portions were perfect. At first I thought $18 for one arepa was overpriced (I’m used to them being smaller) but ended up having to take half to-go. Worth every cent, especially when doused with their creamy cilantro and chipotle sauces. Drooling just thinking about it! Can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in the area!

Everything 10/10. Honestly such an authentic lively and yummy place !!!! Ame. I had an arepa with their agua panela iced drink. Best combo and they were sweet to gift us on the house un palito de queso, cheese stick. So good!! Gracias, volveré. I’ll be back
The food was okay.
It was definitely overpriced and there was nothing special about it. Paid over $100 for 4 meals :/ staff was friendly though.
Try authentic Venezuelan food. I got the protein bowl today. I've tried their arepas and arepas. Great customer service. I recommend you at least give it a try once. I've been here over 20x and every time it's been a good experience. You can find me enjoying the sunset on their al fresco patio right on route 66 in historic Pasadena.

If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan flavors in Pasadena, Venezuelan Chamo Cuisine is a must visit. The food is rich, comforting, and full of flavor that feels both homemade and vibrant. Their arepas are a standout, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled generously with well seasoned meats, cheese, and fresh ingredients. The pabellon criollo is another highlight, with a perfect balance of shredded beef, rice, black beans, and sweet plantains.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot whether you are dining in or grabbing takeout. The staff are friendly and happy to guide you through the menu if you are new to Venezuelan cuisine. Portions are satisfying and everything tastes freshly prepared.
Overall, Venezuelan Chamo Cuisine delivers an authentic and delicious experience that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try something flavorful and unique in Pasadena.
