today we ordered an Umami Yuzu ramen and other foods, the chachu (pork belly) were spoiled, slightly tasted weird, my wife had eaten a small portion of ramen with only a small piece of chachu, so she said it was fine, I told the server regarding the spoiled pork belly, and asked her to bring the remained pork belly to the kitchen, she did, and she came back saying they would replace new pork belly for me.
I then said how about the ramen noodle and soup, they tasted weird too due to the spoiled flavor, she brought the remained noodle and soup to the kitchen and came back telling me, the weird taste was due to the Umami and Yuzu flavor, nothing wrong with the noodle and soup.
Gee, the spoiled pork belly soaked in soup, soup soaked into noodles, and they saying the soup and noodles were fine, I insisted they tasted weird, and refused to eat the remained ramen or soup.
when the check came, they said they took off 50% of the ramen price, so for the spoiled bowl of ramen they were selling to me, they still want me to pay half price, and the suggested tips charge was based on the whole ordered prices, so I still needed to pay full amount of tips for the spoiled bowl of ramen that they served, the suggested tips was 20%, then 22%, then 25%.
I left 15% tips based on no inclusion of the ramen price.
What a weird day here, and upon arrived home, I needed to rush to sit on the toilet.

Great quality Japanese Sashimi / Sushi. Very big portion and filling.
Mama M Sushi in Pasadena was outstanding! The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The sashimi platter featured high-quality cuts that melted in my mouth, while the specialty rolls, yellowtail carpaccio, and baked mussels were equally delicious and expertly prepared. Every dish looked like a work of art, with thoughtful garnishes and vibrant colors. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, creative dishes, and an elevated sushi experience, Mama M Sushi is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!
