Don’t get mad at the 3stars. Appetizers 10, desserts 10. But I gave three stars because the mains were not to the same quality. Oysters: good oysters. Tasted fresh. Oyster eaters know you can’t mess these up on this side of California unless you’re serving them rotten or warm. Lobster rolls with caviar: yes. Get these if you haven’t yet or if it’s your first time. You won’t be disappointed as long as you like caviar. I could eat 50 of these. Steak: Google is calling it the ribeye but actually I forgot if we ordered that. Most likely yes but I’m writing this a few weeks later. My issue with the steak, it came out cold. It came out so cold to the point that I questioned if it was supposed to be served cold. I ended up not saying anything but in the future If this happens I will mention it. I’m just not a fan of cold steak at all restaurant. This next critique is just a personal preference, the steak is sweet. I asked for extra salt just to take away some of the sweetness. Didn’t really work. Honestly now that I’m writing this I probably just wouldn’t order a steak here if it’s going to be sweet. But if that’s your thing go all it. Baked potato: our waiter talked this up so much. But it’s just a baked potato, nothing special, you can make this at home. Unless you’re craving it,just pass on it and get a different side. Lobster butter lettuce salad: I got mad eating this. My personal issue is I hate cutting salad (I’ll never get a wedge unless it’s on a fixed menu) if this was a tossed salad and the lettuce was evenly coated with the dressing and the lobster was mixed in, it would probably be amazing. I think this is another one to pass on unless you enjoy cutting and mixing your own salad. Lol Broccolini: get it. It’s good you need vegetables. Out of the main dinner the broccolini was my favorite. Cookies: ugh. I get these every-time. They’re so good. And I love dunking them in my coffee. I don’t know how I didn’t get an individual picture of the cookie (probably because I was eating them before they hit the table) Banana split thing: please try this. I don’t remember what it’s called but my grandpa used to caramelize bananas on the stove (I think with alcohol 😬) and put it on our ice cream. This was like that except the banana was still cold and fresh in one side and caramelized on the other side. It felt like which craft as you chewed it. Ice cream was vanilla and you definitely got enough whipped cream. Latte&coffee: I had the black coffee because I knew I would dunk my cookie in it. If you don’t like black coffee don’t get it. This obviously isn’t a coffee house so you’re just getting a basic coffee which is exactly what I wanted. The latte was also just a basic latte but had a cute image on the top. If I wasn’t going to dunk my cookie in my coffee I would have just got the latte to drink. The latte was an above average latte but again this isn’t a coffee house so if you’re a latte snob adjust your expectations. But as far as restaurant lattes go, it’s still high up there. Besides the point points: our waiter was amazing. He was the perfect amount of engaging but not trying to sit with you at the table. Although I did see him get pulled to sit at another persons table. You can tell the staff could read the room. They knew which guest to talk up, which ones to leave alone, and like us, which guest to give a good mix. The atmosphere is so fresh. It’s open and even though you’re inside, you feel like you’re outside. I’m convinced there’s no way you could sit there and have an ounce of anxiety. As I looked around, you could tell everyone was chatting and talking but you were still able to listen to your guest across the table. This is niche and not always the restaurants doing but it was noticeable to me and I wonder if it has to do with the layout of the restaurant. Ok I’m done now. Overall I liked this place. I will most likely order different mains but my dessert cookies and lobster appetizer will be continuous. (I’m realizing since I’m writing this a few weeks later I don’t remember our bill)

Finally made it to the new RH Rooftop Bar in Palo Alto last night! The experience was pretty good overall, but gotta say the food was a bit on the greasy side (so maybe skip if you're watching your diet). Also, service definitely slowed down after 8:30 PM, and getting our bill took over half an hour, which kinda put a damper on the whole vibe. The place is all about that American luxury casual dining vibe. We got the caviar lobster sandwich, Wagyu beef burger, truffle fries, roasted corn, and grilled asparagus. The food quality was actually pretty good, especially the lobster 🦞 - super fresh and tender, not too salty, and really tasted like the ocean. Their drink menu is worth mentioning too, with lots of options to choose from. I'd give it an A- overall, but the kids were totally into the food here. My daughter ate a ton, and since she loved it, I'd say we'll definitely be back.

We had high expectations for this restaurant. Went to go celebrate a birthday made us wait for over a hr for our table. When we already had reservations. Very disappointed. We came as a party of 7 and the steak portions were very small. We asked our waiter Sophia questions about the food and what came out was not how she described it at all. For such a fancy restaurant, we expected much better service and food. Would not come back.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with such a beautiful atmosphere and view. The truffle fries were AMAZING seriously one of the best parts of the meal 😭. The downstairs host/guy was also very kind and welcoming. Our waiter, Georgette A, truly made the experience though. Her attitude, helpfulness, and energy went above and beyond. She was so smiley, attentive, sweet, and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout the night. Honestly, if it wasn’t for her, I don’t know if the experience would’ve felt as special as it did. Thanks to Georgette, I’m giving this place 5 stars. My burger was a little salty for my taste, and the kitchen did mess up part of my order, but that wasn’t her fault at all she handled everything professionally and kindly. Most of the staff were very nice as well. Overall, this place is absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth visiting, especially for the atmosphere and service 🤍
