My teenaged daughter and I dined here at this overly hyped place on Father’s Day. We ordered the Wagyu Ribeye (rare) and the Chilean Sea Bass, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. After waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for our entrees, the wait staff explained that the delay was due to the kitchen running behind. While delays can happen, what made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of proactive communication. We were left wondering what was happening with our order for an hour and twenty minutes and no one checked in with us or provided meaningful updates unless we asked. To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, both dishes were only lukewarm. For premium items like Wagyu steak and Chilean sea bass, temperature and timing are critical. Receiving barely warm food after such an excessive wait completely ruined the dining experience. To the restaurant’s credit, the drinks and appetizer were removed from the bill in an effort to make things right. While that gesture was appreciated, the disappointment from the experience had already settled in. The issue was never just the wait—it was the combination of the excessive delay, the lack of timely communication, and ultimately receiving barely warm entrees. Unfortunately, by that point, the excitement my daughter and I had for the evening was gone, and a discounted bill could not fully make up for that.

This place lives up to the rave reviews! Came here with a group and we had an absolutely magical evening! Of course, this place gets very crowded, even during weekdays. So be sure and make reservation. I had to actually increase the number of people in our reservation and I was so happy that they were able to accommodate us! Of course, the decor is stunning and gorgeous. Sometimes, the food can be not quite as impressive. That is not the case here! Service was extremely professional and friendly. And the food was delicious! Highlights are the lobster sliders with caviar. Also we loved the steak, salmon, salad, baked potato with caviar. Do not miss the chocolate chip cookies for dessert, absolutely amazing!

I went for an early dinner with my parents for Father's day. We were excited to get reservations the same day. However, the restaurant was packed and it is very, very loud. The glass roof is an awesome idea, but it reflects all the noise. No exaggeration, it was by far the loudest restaurant I've eaten at. Also, my Mom and I split a cheeseburger and fries which was excellent. We both agreed, it was a great burger. However, my Dad ordered a chicken salad and it was a huge disappointment. No joke, it was just lettuce and canned chicken. No vegetables, or other simple and standard extras. On top of that, it cost $38. What a huge rip off. The service was slow, and the host was very untrained and unfocused.

Honestly quite disappointed by this place. Came from out of town with my family for a night out and thought this place was going to be it. The atmosphere was awesome and very nice so I thought the food would be the same. The service was slow and for paying as much as we did we shouldn’t have empty glasses of water. Now onto the food. The sandwiches like chicken and steak were good had no complaints. My mom decided to order a 70$ steak and it came out well done/burnt when she order it medium rare. So disappointed cause I was super excited to eat here. But shout out the server Chris he was a cool guy.

I am extremely disappointed by an interaction I had at the Palo Alto RH this evening. As my family was leaving after dinner, a staff member on the first floor informed us that the door on the right side was closed and instructed us to exit through the door on the left and walk around the building. We explained that our car was parked on the right side, but she still told us we would need to go around. Moments later, two other guests approached and indicated that they wanted to leave through the same right-side door. The very same staff member immediately walked over and opened the door for them. We then asked why we had been told that the door could not be used while it was apparently available for other guests. Rather than providing a clear explanation, she responded dismissively and avoided answering the question. The inconsistency in how we were treated was both confusing and upsetting. As Asian guests, we could not help but feel that we were being treated differently from other customers. Whether intentional or not, this experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. A luxury hospitality experience is not defined by beautiful furniture or expensive meals, but by how every guest is treated. Unfortunately, RH fell far short of that standard tonight.
