Pleasantly surprised by this joint in Palmdale, serving authentic Cuban fare. If budget allows the surf and turf is amazing, specialty the turf. Start it off with a Sangria or 100 year old cigar cocktail.
If you are looking for an unforgettable night out, Baracoa Cuban Restaurant - truly stands in a league of its own. The food is absolutely delicious, every dish is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. But what really sets them apart is the incredible entertainment, specially Havana Night. The atmosphere is lively, the music and dancing make the whole experience come alive, and it turns a full night of fun. On top of that the owner Tony and his staff are absolutely outstanding, friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. There’s no need to travel out of town when we have something this special right here in our city. It’s the perfect spot for a tasty dinner, great vibes, and an amazing time. I highly recommend checking it out - you won’t forget it!

It’s rare find places lately that have excellent food as well as service. Baracoa absolutely has both. The food was all very unique and delicious, the hot sauce served with the Vaca Frita upon request was amazing. The coffee has the perfect ratio of sweet and bitterness. And the selection of cocktails is great. Something for every taste for food and drink here. On top of everything service was fast, well versed on the menu, and checked in multiple times during our stay. We will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Last thing i would ever think of finding in palmdale is the best cuban restaurant in southern california. First time i went there i thought my grandmother was in the back cooking. Everything there is delicious. I had the ropa vieja which was excellent. I've also had the cuban sandwich and the beast empanizado i think that's how you spell it. But don't go without having the yucca freedia.
Really delicious food, great location, and tons of parking. The atmosphere is great, and our waitress was very nice and gave us plenty of attention. There was also a Hispanic bald male staff member who was very kind and welcoming.
My only concern was with the hostess, the girl with the glasses. Since she’s the first person guests interact with and sets the first impression of the restaurant, I expected a warmer welcome. There was no greeting or welcome, she simply asked how many people were in our party, and her tone felt very dry with serious facial expressions. No offense if that’s just her personality, but having someone more welcoming in that role would create a better first impression.
Other than that, it was a great experience, the prices were reasonable, and we will definitely be back.
