  I do not enjoy shopping at thus Vons location. Everytime I come shop here there is only one register open. Even during busy times like Friday evenings after everyone is getting off work, or Sat afternoons. I'm not sure if this is a staffing issue or what, but we shouldn't have to wait 30 min in line to check out a few items.

  I love having Von's so close to my home. It's well-stocked, clean, and the staff is very helpful. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the checkout lines. Expect to wait 5 minutes, often ten or more, when checking out. Why don't they have self check-out? That could clear up the issue almost immediately.

  I have shopped at this Vons and have generally had wonderful experiences with the employees here. Gage is great, Joel is great, and I have no complaints about the rest of the staff. The wait times can be extremely long, so having pleasantries from the staff is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with Stephanie today was completely different. I downloaded the Vons app, followed the instructions for the digital deal, entered my phone number, and even had a photograph of the advertised price. The item was regularly $16.99 and the digital deal clearly showed $7.99. Instead of simply helping resolve the issue, Stephanie argued with me back and forth for approximately 15 minutes in front of a huge line of customers—probably 10 people waiting behind me. At one point, she then walked away extremely slowly while everyone was left standing there waiting wondering what the heck was going on. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and embarrassing, as though the goal was to put me in my place rather than help a customer with an advertised price. After all of that, she finally agreed to honor the stated $7.99 price that I had already shown her in the photograph. What should have been a very simple transaction became an unpleasant 15-minute ordeal for me and everyone stuck waiting behind me. I understand that digital coupons can sometimes be confusing or fail to register properly, but there is no reason for a customer to be treated this way when they are simply asking for the advertised price. The other employees here have been wonderful, but after this experience with Stephanie, I will not be returning to this location. Customer-service and attitude training would be appropriate.

  I use Vons pharmacy on a regular basis. The staff are great. Very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately there’s no seats while waiting to pick up your meds in line. Most of us are over 75+ and find it difficult to stand in line without aid. I lean on the counter area but get reprimanded about customer privacy which I understand. Perhaps a little redesign would help 🙄
