Lovely restaurant vibe on entering. The gluten free menu is excellent. Really difficult for our waiter who was working stations inside & out. Delicious chicken but no gravy or sauce cold potato & the seasonal veges were a handful of cold beans.

I had come to Palm Springs for the somber purpose of finding Memory Care for a friend. The day had been long and a bit depressing, so we decided for a change of pace with a dinner at Lulu California Bistro.
We could not have made a better choice. The Gods smiled on us and gave us Jesse as our server. Once, I established the importance of my being to Jesse with "you have no idea just who I think I am", he understood and was on-board for an evening of sarcasm and stomach hurting laughter. I stressed to Jesse the importance of having a "incriminating" drink that left nothing to a passer-by's imagination as to my orientation. And "voila" I had a beautiful pink sparkling fufu drink within seconds.
The dinner further unraveled into hysterical chaos when Jesse sent Dave, the manager, to temper my criticism of finding a burnt french-fry in my Calamari. Dave immediately allowed my "outrage" to boil over into further laughter and assured me that "the fry cook would be gone"!
Finally, for desert Jesse, wanted nothing more than my complete satisfaction. He served me a bowl of foot-high Pink Cotton Candy so that there would be absolutely NO DOUBT to anyone in the room as to "which side my bread was buttered on."
In closing, sure, you can find great food in lots of places. You can find creative food in some creative places...but where can you find service that will ensure you an evening you will NOT FORGET? That, lies at Lulu California Bistro. Ask for Jesse, and then complain to Dave.

We have visited Palm Springs often over the years dining on Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of the village. There is such an awe inspiring classic vibe that exudes from being in this city. After all Palm Springs is still a Hollywood playground. The food scene has exploded over the years. It matches that vibe.
Our first time dining here at LuLu's California Bistro. We stopped in this past Thursday, May 7th about 730p.m. Our first visit. No reservation. The food was absolutely amazing. So fresh and delicious. The restaurant was moderately busy. Thursday the City host Village Fest. We were seated immediately for which I was pleasantly surprised . The menu offered American Classic with a wide variety of options. A vast offering of Vegetarian and Gluten free dishes are available. Children are welcome. We received our dinner very timely. Our dishes were prepared with care and plated like art work. Almost to good to eat! But eat we did till our hearts content. We will diffenitely return. It was "that good"

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
I was expecting basic diner food but this was an experience. The braised short ribs were perfection and just fell apart. Prime rib melts in your mouth and don't get me STARTED on the chocolate cake.
I got too excited for my food and didn't take photos.
The service was incredible, every staff member is fun and friendly.
The prices are so reasonable I am wondering how they even stay in business.
10/10 I will be back and good luck getting rid of me

We love, love, love, Lulu California Bistro! There are good restaurants in Palm Springs, but if I had my choice, I'd eat here every meal. Great, inviting atmosphere, and their food does not disappoint. Plenty of health-conscious options. Our favorites are their gazpacho and the Atlantic salmon. Don't miss an opportunity to try this spot. You won't regret it.
