Food is good, service is great, prices are out of control. Thirty dollars for a tiny chicken sandwich and a small side salad. It's good but not that good.

We had eaten here with 5 people in the evening, and had to wait more than 1.5 hours, despite the fact that there were no other people in the restaurant. The food was good, but the price was excessively high for what it was. "Extra" costs were also charged, quite unclear for what. Service was mediocre.

Can’t believe how expensive this place has become! I’ve been coming for years and they’re now charging $26 for a coffee and a not great pastry. Totally not worth it anymore unfortunately. More expensive than airport/stadium prices.

"I’ve been a frequent visitor to Palm Springs for years, and I’ve stayed at a wide range of properties—from mid-range boutiques to high-end resorts. I genuinely enjoy the Ace Hotel for its kitschy, energetic aesthetic and great service, which makes it a fun place to stay.
However, my recent experience dining at King’s Highway was a total disappointment. As an experienced Palm Springs traveler, I know what the local culinary scene has to offer, and unfortunately, the food here just doesn't deliver.
The price point for breakfast and cocktails is positioned at a premium level, but the quality, portion sizes, and overall execution felt like a significant 'price grab' rather than a reflection of value. When you’re charging these rates, there has to be a corresponding level of care and quality on the plate—which simply wasn't there. It felt like an utter catastrophe compared to other high-end dining experiences in the city.
I’ll continue to enjoy the vibe and energy of the Ace Hotel property itself, but I will be skipping the dining at King’s Highway entirely in the future. There are simply too many better options in Palm Springs that actually match their price tags with quality."
The prices are EXORBITANT for diner food.
