Sat at the bar not a fun night watch LA Dodger game boom bartender change the game to hockey
Colorado Minn no way I'm not a snow bird hate hockey then I am eating my salad not finished and brought me steak way to early. Then my dessert which I ordered earlier at the beginning took forever. Finally my birthday was Saturday May 9 went by myself to avoid hockey game Fireballs which they lost some minor league team never on ESPN or news

So disappointing! The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was not cleaned and three of the shrimp still had half of the black poop chute. My waiter was not to be seen (he was nice, but very harried, they seemed slammed which is unusual to see in a high-end place) so I ate what I could. Yuch! The martini came lukewarm. (I feel ridiculously privileged to be complaining about a martini but one expects better especially when paying what I think was $19). The steak was OK, nothing to write home about. Ordered medium rare, cooked medium. When I finally saw my waiter at the end of the meal, I told him about the issues, and he decided to get the manager (not what I was looking for). The manager took off some of the bill. His only comment was “Did it taste like Grey Goose?”. Very strange and off-putting. He was totally unengaged and could have cared less. Wow!

This occasion was my wife and my 5th anniversary!!! And it was a great experience starting with my reservation, it was taken 100% correct, which is super important!!! It starts off the whole night!!! Our server was really calm and we didn’t get pushed into having to order and get rushed through the evening. He also took the time to explain all of the different menu items so we didn’t have any questions. And we finished up the dinner with a complimentary Creme Brûlée that was outstanding. Our dinner and evening was one of our best together and we will without a doubt be back to enjoy another at Morton’s in Palm Desert!!! Thank you Victor and the whole crew for making this night so special for the both of us!!

Our experience at the Bar was outstanding. The drinks are fabulous and the food is always great. All the staff, including Michelle, Sergio, and Charley are very accommodating and professional; and Kenny, the manager is available, friendly, and always willing to assist in any way. We will always come back to Mortons, whether the restaurant or the Bar, its always a very pleasant and delicious experience.

Here’s a long one
Our friends come here quite often so we decided to give it a shot from their recommendation and I think this is going to be our new spot. The drive was worth it. The food was amazing our server Kat Was the sweetest, she was Informative, and tended to whatever we need or ask for without being too pushy, you know sometimes You go to a restaurant and the waiter keeps coming up to like every so often but like sometimes it’s too much lol .. she would literally come at the right time But still let us experience our dinner. If we go back, I would definitely be asking for her again.
The ahi was Probably the best ahi I have had at any restaurant Just cooked to perfection10/10
The bacon wrapped scallops Is something my fiancé cannot stop talking about Those were amazing 10/10
I got salmon and it was cooked to perfection juicy and flaky but not dry, the glaze on it was just amazing 10/10
The lobster mac & cheese shells, I could probably just order like six of those and be content It was packed with flavor 10/10
The king crab mashed potatoes were So smooth and silky, but not watery you know how sometimes they drench it in butter and it just doesn’t sit well. This was just perfection. 10/10
I didn’t get a picture of the lobster bisque but I was very impressed with how well it was cooked. It was the creamiest smoothest delectable bisque i’ve had in a while and it had just a perfect amount of lobster and how big their chunks were. I really wish I would’ve gotten a photo but we were just so excited. 10/10
The bread that they bring to the table itself is the perfect combination of the right crispiness on the outside and the right fluffiness in the inside 10/10
My fiancé got 2 drinks with his meal the state street whiskey cocktail, Burbon old fashion
14 oz dry aged ribeye with added shrimp
He swore that the bacon that came with The State Street whiskey cocktail I believe was the best bacon he’s ever had On a drink
The ribeye would just melt in his mouth
10/10
I got a lemon drop which I get pretty nervous about ordering places because sometimes they don’t make it right or they add way too much and it’s like too sour or too sweet, but this one was perfect 10/10
And for dessert I had to order the crème brûlée
It was so delicious
10/10
Long story short definitely going back from now on And they probably just got new loyal customers
