  My first time to Morton's and I prefer it over Ruth's Chris or Flemings. Quality of food is exceptional and service was on point. This is our new go to high end steak restaurant.

  Kenny the manager was amazing. He was out on the floor talking to tables and the atmosphere was infused by his personality. Martin our waiter was exceptional and he navigated us through the menu and helped us select some premium choices for excellent night of dining. The food and drinks were great but the hospitality was fantastic. We'll be back soon. Thank you.

  This place always has great food and service. My friend and I love to come to the Lobster Extravaganza, where a 2 pound lobster is $59. I adore whole lobsters, yummy eating the innards!

  July 22, 2026 We went to Morton’s to spend a kid’s birthday. Expecting the same service in San Diego. Ended up disappointed. All the table ordered the steak except for the kid. Food was brought on the table, and the server took one of the orders wrong. So he placed the right order. Manager came in asking if everything was alright. And we replied “it’s fine. We’re just waiting for their food” We started eating because we don’t want to eat cold food. I’ve asked the staff for a manager at least 4 times. He didn’t came. I got impatient, and talked to the staff to bring the manager one last time. Manager came in, and I complained that “All the food is under-cooked” and he replied, saying “Oh, I went to your table and you guys said everything was fine.” Everything was fine because the food presentation is nice. We haven’t touched our food when the manager checked on us. Manager is aware that the table is already having problems. Manager didn’t bother to check on us. Our food wouldn’t be comped untill we asked for it. The staff/manager didn’t even offer any complimentary desert. Nor the staff asked if we are celebarting anything. I would take my business elsewhere. Wouldn’t go back to this place. Managers presence felt like we aren’t acknowledged and welcomed. Probably thinking that “these young people are broke eh” Great day ended up disappointed.

  Our waiter was kind of rude. My friend was wanting to order a specialty drink she had had in the bar on a previous visit. He kept saying they dont have the bar's menu. We dont know what they have, instead of going around the corner to the bar and getting a menu or bringing a bartender to our table. They weren't busy yet. The filet was good but should have been great. He didn't tell me that my potatoes were family style so I got a big bowl for just me. I was celebrating my anniversary with mom and a friend because my husband was out of town. He said we'll get you a free dessert.. we shared dessert..then we paid for it. Not my best experience. It's too bad because you're so close. But, maybe the drive to Ruth's Cris is worth it.
